Jesse Burris, Delaware Hayes boys basketball

The sophomore had 29 points in a dominant win vs. Worthington Kilbourne and had 16 points in Delaware’s 46-44 win vs. Marysville.

Heaven Clark, Batavia bowling

Bowled a 372 series in a 2,134-2,274 loss to Wilmington.

Finn Friede, Moeller ice hockey

The freshman netted his first varsity goal to bring the final score to 4-2 vs. Olentangy Berlin.

Chase Garito, Brecksville boys basketball

The 6-foot-8 center recorded a double-double with 12 points, two blocks and 10 rebounds in a 77-54 win vs. Wadsworth. 

Alex Goddard, Northwest boys basketball

Dropped a game-high 24 points to beat host Manchester 57-56 in double overtime.

Derrick James, Canal Winchester boys basketball

The senior had 26 points in Canal’s road win over Dubin Scioto, marking his second 25-plus-point game of the season.

Chloe Jeffers, Delaware Hayes girls basketball

Recorded her fourth 25-plus-point game of the season, pouring in 27 points vs. Westerville North.

Caleb Laurich, Copley boys basketball

Laurich buried a buzzer-beater from the 3-point line in overtime and had 22 points overall to push past Aurora 46-45. 

Maren McCallister, New Hope Christian girls basketball

Posted 23 points in New Hope’s 53-42 win over Whitehall Yearling.

Emma Pugh, Pickerington Central bowling

Bowled games of 246 and 220 for a combined 466 series in a 1,981-1,220 win over Lancaster to break the two-game series record for Pickerington Central by 61 pins.

Imarianah Russell, Reynoldsburg girls basketball

The West Virginia commit scored a game-high 20 points to lead a 55-30 rout over Penn-Trafford and had 16 points in a 65-36 blowout win over Newark.

Tavareon Sanders, Glenville boys basketball

Sanders had 22 points to pace Glenville to a huge win over John Hay 74-41.

JJ Simmons, Beechcroft boys basketball

Had 30 points as the Cougars defeated Columbus International, improving to a 3-1 overall record.

Darion Thompson, Cleveland Heights wrestling

The junior went 4-0 over the weekend at the Hawken HIT Tournament. Thompson won a nail-biter in an overtime match to qualify for the finals and then beat his final opponent in the first period via pin.

Ella Wigal, Granville girls basketball

The junior scored a season-high 30 points to reach 1,000 career points and take down Zanesville 76-54.
