Football coach Adam Clack, who led Milton to the Class 7A state championship game in the fall, is stepping down.

He announced the move Thursday on Twitter, saying he "loved every minute" of his five-year tenure at Milton.

Here's his full statement:

Milton made a run to the state championship game last month, losing to Collins Hill.

Before his successful stint at Milton helping the Eagles become one of the top teams in Georgia, Clack helped establish West Forsyth's program as a coordinator and later its head coach.
