Ava Arias, McDaniel

With her versatility, the senior has been a threat to score for everywhere on the court this season for the Mountain Lions, as she’s averaging 21 points and nine rebounds per game. Arias had double-doubles against Canby (27 points, 10 rebounds), Sunset (20 points, 11 rebounds) and David Douglas (11 points, 11 rebounds). She also scored 30 points in a 52-33 win over Century.

Gabby Bland, Crescent Valley

The junior guard scored a game-high 23 points, sinking four 3-point baskets in the process, as she helped lead the Raiders to a 60-54 win over rival Corvallis in a Mid-Willamette Conference game played at Corvallis High School.

Zoe Borter, Beaverton

The junior wing helped the Beavers get off to a 2-0 start to Metro League play. Borter scored 13 points in a league-opening 43-38 win at Westview, and she put in a game-high 20 points in a 49-15 victory at Southridge.

Claire Crawford, Pleasant Hill

The freshman forward scored a game-high 21 points for the Billies in their 60-39 loss to Marist Catholic in a nonleague game played at Pleasant Hill High School.

KJ Custer, McNary

The junior guard, who missed the early part of the season due to injury, scored nine points, tying for the team high, while also sinking a key 3-point basket early in the second half, helping the Celtics get a 45-29 win over Canby in a nonleague game played at McNary.

Reese Ericson, Lakeridge

The senior point guard led the way for the Pacers in their 50-16 win over rival Lake Oswego in a Three Rivers League opener played at Lake Oswego High School. In the victory, Ericson scored 23 points, while also having seven rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Madison Fuller, Marist Catholic

The senior guard tied for game-high scoring honors with 18 points, while also snaring eight rebounds and dishing off five assists for the Spartans in their 60-39 nonleague road win over Pleasant Hill.

Shaylee Gonzalez, Mountainside

The senior forward/guard had a huge game for the Mavericks in a Metro League-opening 82-22 win over Aloha. In the victory, Gonzalez scored 30 points, coming on a 15-for-23 shooting night from the field. She also had five rebounds, five deflections, five steals and a blocked shot — all coming in just 20 minutes of playing time.

Sarah Halgren, Western Christian

The senior scored a game-high 20 points, while also sinking a half-court shot right before halftime, in the Pioneers’ 46-38 win over Sheridan in a Tri-River Conference game played at Western Christian.

Kendra Hicks, Jesuit

The sophomore forward, with two double-doubles, helped the Crusaders get off to a 2-0 start to Metro League play. Hicks had 11 points and 14 rebounds in a 61-23 win at Sunset. She followed by scoring 14 points and grabbing 14 rebounds in a 61-48 home victory over Westview.

McKenzie Hirsch, Crater

The senior guard scored a game-high 20 points, while also having eight rebounds and three assists, as she helped the Comets score a 33-27 win over Grants Pass in a nonleague game played at Grants Pass High School.

Donovyn Hunter, South Medford

The junior guard, who is scoring at an average of nearly 26 points per game this season, had three big performances for the Panthers during their California road trip. Hunter scored 27 points in a 77-44 win at Chico. She scored 21 points and had five steals in a 56-48 win over Woodside Priory, Calif., in a first-round game of the Nike MLK Showcase, held at St. Mary’s High School in Stockton, Calif., and she scored 24 points in a 67-59 loss to Lincoln, Calif.

Sibayla Jensen, Grant

The senior guard scored 15 points and came up with four steals to help the Generals earn a 49-47 win over Lincoln in a Portland Interscholastic League game played at Lincoln High School.

Sierra Logue, South Medford

The senior forward scored 24 points while also having 10 rebounds and five blocked shots for the Panthers in their 77-44 victory at Chico, Calif.

Sofia Megert, South Eugene

The senior point guard scored a game-high 30 points for the Axe in a 51-45 win at North Medford in a Southwest Conference game. Megert went 9 for 9 from the free throw line in the victory, while also having five assists and six steals. Megert is scoring at an average of 21.3 points per game for the season.

Molly Nelson, Junction City

The senior guard had a game-high 27 points, including 22 in the first half, helping lead the Tigers to a 57-16 win over Elmira in a Sky-Em League contest. Johnson also had seven steals in the victory.

Teyrn Powers, Hidden Valley

The senior guard, one of the team’s captains, scored a game-high 15 points to help the Mustangs notch a 41-35 road win over Brookings-Harbor in a nonleague game.

Elka Prechel, Corvallis

The senior sank four 3-point baskets on her way to scoring a team-high 20 points for the Spartans in their 60-54 loss to Crescent Valley in a Mid-Willamette Conference game played at Corvallis High School.

Laney Snelling, Sherwood

The senior guard scored 23 points, going 9 for 9 from the field, including a 5 for 5 performance from 3-point range, in helping the Bowmen score a 61-37 win at McMinnville in a Pacific Conference opener. Snelling also sank a buzzer-beating half-court basket in the victory.

Lainey Spear, Beaverton

The junior forward helped the Beavers sprint to a 2-0 start in Metro League play. Spear had a double-double, with 20 points and 10 rebounds, in a league-opening 43-38 victory at Westview. She then had 12 points and five steals in a 49-15 win at Southridge.

Alli Stilp, Newberg

The senior guard had a double-double, with 19 points and 10 rebounds, as she led the Tigers to a 58-53 win at Liberty in a Pacific Conference opener. Stilp, who is averaging 16 points per game, stepped up and helped Newberg, which had only nine available players for the game, get its first ever win at Liberty.

Ryker Rothfus, St. Mary’s (3A)

The senior guard scored a game-high 19 points in helping the Crusaders get a 48-28 road win over Illinois Valley in a nonleague contest. It was St. Mary’s first game in more than a month, due to low player numbers.

Maya Rowland, Central Linn

The junior scored a game-high 18 points to help the Cobras post a 43-24 win over Lowell in a Central Valley Conference game played at Lowell High School.

Mia Skoro, La Salle Prep

The senior guard scored a game-high 19 points as she helped the Falcons earn a 57-20 win over Scappoose in a Northwest Oregon Conference game played at La Salle Prep. Skoro shot at a 3-for-5 clip from 3-point range, while also having three rebounds, four assists and two steals in the victory.

Ava Sellers, Gervais

The junior wing scored a game-high 17 points, including nine in the first quarter, to help lead the Cougars to a 51-27 win over Kennedy in a Tri-River Conference game played at Kennedy High School.

Margaret Shively, Hillsboro

The senior guard had a strong all-around game for the Spartans in their home 32-20 win over Milwaukie in a Northwest Oregon Conference game. In the victory, Shively scored nine points, while also having eight rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Azlynn Ure, Redmond

The freshman point guard helped lead the way for the Panthers in their Intermountain Conference-opening 54-26 win over The Dalles. In the victory, Ure scored 17 points, shooting at a 7-for-9 clip from 2-point range. She also had two assists, three steals, two rebounds and a blocked shot.

Maddie Warberg, Willamette

The freshman wing scored a team-high 16 points to help the No. 1 ranked Class 5A team get a 47-32 win over Springfield in a Midwestern League game played at Willamette High School.

Katelynn Weaver, Crook County

The junior guard scored a game-high 18 points, including 10 in the decisive fourth quarter, to help lead the Cowgirls to a 42-35 win over Baker in a nonleague game played at Crook County High School.

Sadie Wendring, Central

The junior guard had a couple of big games for the Panthers in the past week. Wendring scored 17 points while also having five rebounds and two assists in a 64-54 loss at Corvallis. She followed by scoring 21 points while adding four rebounds, four assists and three steals in a 47-21 victory at North Salem.
