Eagle's Landing improved to 11-0 in region play last week, running its incredible region record up to 68-2 over the past five seasons.

Another team that keeps rising is Greenforest, which is up to No. 12 after running up a 12-game winning streak.

SBLIVE'S GEORGIA TOP 25

1. Pebblebrook (17-2) 

Last week: 1

Pebblebrook increased its win streak to 10 straight games after back-to-back blowout wins over Campbell and Wilson Academy. 

2. Wheeler (14-4)

Lask week: 2

Wheeler is on a three-game win streak, all against region opponents. The Wildcats have won 11 of their last 12 games. 

3. Berkmar (12-4) 

Lask week: 3

Berkmar went 2-0 in the Quincy Shootout in Chicago, beating iSchool of Lewisville (Texas) and Father Tolton (Missouri). 

4. Newton (15-3)

Last week: 4

 Newton rebounded after back-to-back losses, with a blowout win over region opponent Brookwood. 

5. Norcross (14-4)

Last week: 6

Norcross swept the season series against Meadowcreek to improve its win streak to six straight games. Norcross outscored Meadowcreek by 48 points in their two games played this season. 

6. North Gwinnett (16-3)

Last week: 7

 North Gwinnett got two region wins over Dacula and Peachtree Ridge to improve its region record to 5-0.

7. Eagle's Landing (19-3)

Last week: 9

Eagle's Landing had blowout wins over region opponents Union Grove and Jones County to remain undefeated in the region at 11-0. The Eagles are 68-2 vs. region opponents in the last five seasons. 

8. Pace Academy (16-4)

Last week: 10

Pace Academy has been asserting its dominance of late, adding two massive wins against region opponents, beating McNair 110-21 and Towers 84-23.

9. McDonough (16-1)

Last week: 11

The Warhawks are on an impressive win streak of 14 games. McDonough has not lost since the first week of December, and that was a single-digit loss to Eagle's Landing. 

10. Shiloh (18-0)

Last week: 15

Shiloh is the lone undefeated team left in the top 25. The Generals are two wins short of their record streak set in the 2014 season. 

11. Westlake (14-4)

Last week: 16

 Westlake has won eight straight games and three straight vs. region opponents to give the Lions an 8-0 region record. 

12. Greenforest (13-4)

Last week: 17

Greenforest’s win streak now stands at 12 games, with seven of those against region opponents. 

13. Osborne (17-1)

Last week: 12

Osborne suffered its first loss after winning 16 straight. The Cardinals fell to region opponent Kell, pushing their region record to 9-1, good for second in the region behind Wheeler. 

14. St. Pius X Catholic (15-3)

Last week: 5

St. Pius was upset by region opponent Decatur, which was only its second loss to a region opponent in the last two seasons. 

15. Sandy Creek (16-3) 

Last week: 18

Sandy Creek rebounded with three straight wins after its loss to Osborne. All three wins were against region opponents, which puts the Patriots at 8-0 and first place in their region. 

16. Grayson (12-6)

Last week: 8

Grayson traveled to D.C. and came back with two losses. The Rams jumped out to an early lead against Archbishop Carroll but weren’t able to hold the lead. In their first game back in Georgia, Grayson took down region opponent South Gwinnett to maintain its region lead. 

17. Milton (12-7)

Last week: 14

Milton has lost two of its last three games, all against out-of-state opponents. Milton is 6-5 against out-of-state opponents, but still holds a region record of 6-0. 

18. McEachern (11-7)

Last week: 15

McEachern has lost two of its last three games. The win was a much-needed one vs. region opponent Campbell, but then followed that up with a 37-point loss to North Broward Prep. 

19. Hillgrove (15-1)

Last week: 20

Hillgrove has won eight straight games, with four of those being against region opponents. 

20. Buford (14-3)

Last week: 19

Buford fell to Shiloh to surrender first place in the region, but then took down Lanier to bring its region record to 6-1 and a game back of Shiloh, which the Wolves will face in the last game of the season. 

21. Columbia (17-3)

Last week: 22

Columbia has won eight straight games and put a stamp on the week after dominating region opponent Elite Scholars Academy 92-34. 

22. River Ridge (17-3)

Last week: 23

River Ridge is one of the hottest teams in Georgia. The Knights are winners of 10 straight games, with a good chunk of them being against a tough region that features Sequoyah and Centennial. 

23. Alexander (14-2)

Last week: Unranked

Alexander is back in the top 25. The Cougars have won three in a row and seven of their last eight.

24. Centennial (15-3)

Last week: 21

Centennial suffered two straight region losses, one of them being against red-hot Sequoyah. The Knights' hot start has dissipated, and they have surrendered the first place spot to River Ridge. 

25. Kell (11-7)

Last week: Unranked

Kell has weathered the storm of a rough start to the season and has seemed to fully turn things around. The Longhorns upset Osborne, which gave the Cardinals their first loss on the season. Kell has won six of its last seven games.
