Emily Carter, Waynedale gymnastics
Carter won three of four events, scoring a 9.1 on the vault, an 8.3 on the bars, a 9.0 on the beam and a 9.55 with her floor routine to finish with a 35.95 all-around score at the Winter Classic meet.
Lauren Clippard, Colerain girls swimming
Clippard placed first in the 100 backstroke and second in the 200 freestyle at the Greater Miami Conference meet.

Kenyon Giles, Rhodes boys basketball
Scored 27 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in an 80-67 win over Glenville.
Chad Harper, Triway boys bowling
Led his team to a 2,951-2,940 comeback win over Louisville, rolling a team-high 486 series with games of 227 and 259.
Cody Head, Lutheran East boys basketball
Finished with 24 points in a 59-53 victory over Garfield Heights and was named MVP of the Play-By-Play Classic.
Amani Lyles, Beechcroft boys basketball
Lyles joined his program’s 1,000-point club, as he finished with 29 points, 22 rebounds, five blocks and four steals in a win over Linden-McKinley.
Andrea Maibach, Norwayne girls basketball
Had a season-high 30 points and 15 rebounds in a 62-33 win over Hillsdale and posted 29 points in a 66-61 loss to Norwayne.
Maren McCallister, New Hope Christian girls basketball
Scored her 1,000th career point as she finished with 33 points in a 57-44 win over Westfall and had 21 points in a 64-47 loss to Chillicothe.
Ava Nelson, Mentor girls wrestling
The 11th-ranked 115-pounder in Ohio went 3-0 in a wrestling tournament at Mentor to improve her season record to 29-6.
Chase Ouellette, Wellington boys basketball
Scored his 1,000th career point, as he went off for 32 points in a loss to Centerburg.
Imarianah Russell, Reynoldsburg girls basketball
Scored a season-high 36 points in a 73-54 win at Gahanna Lincoln.
Gage Schlotterbeck, Olentangy Liberty hockey
The forward scored his 100th varsity goal in a 4-2 win over Dublin Coffman.
Jalen Wenger, Dalton boys basketball
