Congratulations to Anclote girls basketball guard Breanna Ortega for being voted SBLive’s Florida High School Athlete of the Week for Jan. 31-Feb. 6!

The junior had a 34-point performance back on February 1st, leading the Lady Sharks to a 71-43 win over Hudson.

Ortega ran away with this week's honor, receiving 94.1% of the total vote.

Tanner Bost, Guard (Sr.) The Rock School

Bost was just one assist shy of recording a triple-double back on January 31 (24 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists) in a 78-58 win over HEART HomeSchool.

Tatianna Matthews, Guard (So.) Dunnellon

Matthews played in 2 games last week, averaging 28.5 points per game, including a 32-point performance on February 2, in a 65-54 win over Eastside (Gainesville).

Javon Bennett, Guard (Sr.) Trinity Prep

Bennett finished with 27 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals back on January 31, in a 68-39 win over Bishop Moore.

Christian Bibbs, Guard (Sr.) North Bay Haven

Bibbs finished with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 steals back on February 1, in an 81-54 win over Wakulla Christian.

Brandon Robb, Center (Sr.) Wesley Chapel

Robb finished with just 7 points, but had 23 rebounds back on January 31, leading the Wildcats to a 69-52 win over Cypress Creek.

Ian Smikle, Forward (So.) Suncoast

Smikle finished with 16 points and 13 rebounds back on February 2, in a 68-65 loss vs Dwyer.

Finkelman had 2 goals and 2 assists back on February 1, leading the Lady Eagles to a 5-0 win over St. John Paul II Academy (Boca Raton)

Brianna Burdy, Forward (Sr.) Ridge Community

Burdy picked up 3 goals and 2 assists back on February 1, in a 6-1 win over Harmony.

Cameron Boozer, Forward (Fr.) Columbus

Boozer finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds back on February 1, in a 76-36 win over Southwest (Miami)

Jadon Swartzlander, Forward (Sr.) Spruce Creek

Swartzlander had 1 goal and 2 assists back on January 31, in a 4-1 win over Seminole (Sanford).

Katie Ambrose, Guard (Sr.) Gulf Coast

Ambrose finished with 10 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists back on February 4, in a 44-32 win over Sarasota Riverview.

Trinity Turner, Guard (So.) Dr. Phillips

Turner finished with 17 points, 12 rebounds and 7 steals back on February 4, in a 48-40 win over Haines City.
