NAMPA, Idaho - Amari Whiting scored 29 points to lead Burley to a 49-36 victory over Preston in the Idaho 4A girls basketball state semifinals on Friday.

NAMPA, Idaho - Amari Whiting scored 29 points to lead Burley to a 49-36 victory over Preston in the Idaho 4A girls basketball state semifinals on Friday.

Whiting, an Oregon Ducks commit, finished with 29 points, 8 steals and 7 rebounds. Burley advances to play Skyline in the 4A state championship game on Saturday.
