SAN MARCOS, Calif. -- Mission Hills used a 25-4 run in the third quarter to create separation from Bishop's on their way to a 77-53 win over the Knights in the opening round of the San Diego Section Open Division Playoffs. The first half was tightly contested throughout, with the Knights grabbing the lead several times in the second quarter. Mission Hills had four players score in double digits led by sophomore Mariah Brown who finished with 18 points, six rebounds, and four steals. Senior Kennan Ka added 13 points, 11 rebounds, and five steals. Senior Angie Robles was held below her season scoring average, finishing with 26 points for the Knights.
