Here are the candidates for the WaFd BankOregon High School Boys Basketball Player of the Week for Feb. 14-20 as nominated by coaches, fans and readers.

Jace Aguilar, Jefferson (2A)

The junior guard poured in a game-high 35 points for the Lions in a 74-73 loss to Regis in a Central Valley Conference playoff contest held at Jefferson High School.

Mason Ainsworth, Marshfield

The senior guard, who recently became the school’s all-time leading scorer, tallied a game-high 21 points to help the Pirates notch a 71-43 win over Siuslaw in a Sky Em League game played at Siuslaw High School.

Devon Anderson, North Eugene

The senior wing scored a team-high 17 points while also having four rebounds and four steals for the Highlanders in their 49-44 win over Thurston in a Midwestern League game played at North Eugene High School.

Jalen Atkins, Barlow

The freshman guard scored a game-high 20 points while also having four assists for the Bruins in their 68-45 win over Sandy in a Mt. Hood Conference game played at Sandy High School. For the week, in three Barlow victories, Atkins averaged 18 points and six assists per game.

Parker Bracy, Willamette

The senior wing had a strong performance for the Wolverines, scoring a game-high 20 points to go with two rebounds and three assists in their 49-40 win over Eagle Point in a Midwestern League game played at Willamette High School.

Malik Brown, Tigard

The junior guard scored a game-high 22 points while also having five rebounds, three assists and three steals for the Tigers before leaving the game with an apparent left ankle injury with 6:13 to play in their 70-64 loss to rival Tualatin in a Three Rivers League contest.

Owen Caudle, Sherwood

The senior guard scored 13 points while also dishing off five assists for the Bowmen in their 53-44 win over Century in a Pacific Conference game played at Sherwood High School. Caudle had 12 points, five assists and four steals in a 61-48 victory over Forest Grove.

Jackson Cooper, Cleveland

The junior forward had a strong performance for the Warriors with 26 points, on 9-for-13 shooting, to go with 10 rebounds, two steals and a blocked shot in a loss to Roosevelt in a Portland Interscholastic League game played at Cleveland High School.

Nick DiGiulio, Ida B. Wells

The sophomore guard sank six 3-point baskets and scored 25 points for the Guardians in their 73-66 loss to Grant in a Portland Interscholastic League game played at Grant High School.

Lucas Franssen, Marist Catholic

The senior guard scored a game-high 28 points, sinking eight 3-pointers, helping the Spartans earn a 67-55 win over Cottage Grove in a Sky-Em League contest. Franssen sank four 3-pointers and scored 14 points in the first quarter.

Grant Goesch, Regis

The senior post scored a team-high 27 points, helping lead the Rams to a key 74-73 win over Jefferson in a Central Valley Conference playoff game at Jefferson High School.

Jordan Johnson, Century

The sophomore guard had a big night for the Jaguars, scoring a game-high 22 points, on an 8-for-12 shooting night, while also having four assists, three rebounds and three steals in their 61-46 win over Liberty in a Pacific Conference contest.

Josiah Lake, Tualatin

The junior guard/wing scored a team-high 19 points, including 10 in the fourth quarter, helping the top-ranked Timberwolves get a 70-64 road win over rival Tigard. Lake made 7 of 8 free throw attempts in the final 49.1 seconds.

Austin Maurer, Cascade Christian

The 6-foot-11 center continued his standout sophomore season, notching a double-double with 28 points and 12 rebounds while also having six blocked shots for the Challengers in their 63-54 Far West League victory over Brookings-Harbor.

Mykah Mendoza, Roseburg

The sophomore had a big game for Roseburg, scoring 15 points while also having eight rebounds and five assists in the team's 66-62 win over South Eugene in a Southwest Conference game at South Eugene High School.

Utrillo Morris, Roosevelt

The sophomore guard had a big night for the Roughriders, with 15 points, six assists and five rebounds in their 73-49 win over Benson in a Portland Interscholastic League game played at the Marshall Campus.

Max Montgomery, Churchill

The sophomore guard scored 15 points, going 5 for 5 from 3-point range, helping the Lancers post an 85-26 win over North Bend in a Midwestern League game played at Churchill High School.

Adrian Mosley, Grant

The junior wing had a huge night for the Generals, scoring a game-high 34 points while also having seven rebounds and three assists in their 73-66 win over Ida B. Wells in a Portland Interscholastic League game played at Grant High School.

Jacob Newell, Thurston

The senior post had a double-double for the Colts, with a game-high 25 points and 12 rebounds in a 49-44 lost to North Eugene in a Midwestern League game played at North Eugene High School.

Brennan Neyt, Eagle Point

The senior wing had a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds as well as two blocked shots in a 49-40 loss to Willamette in a Midwestern League game played at Willamette High School.

Connor Oertel, West Salem

The sophomore sank a school-record nine 3-pointers, on 15 attempts, on his way to scoring a game-high 35 points for the Titans in their 83-41 win over South Salem in a Mountain Valley Conference game played at West Salem High School. Oertel connected on his first eight 3-point attempts.

Logan Price, Crater

The senior wing had a big game for the Comets, scoring 29 points while also having eight rebounds and two steals in their 63-48 win over Springfield in a Midwestern League game played at Crater High School.

Owen Stalnaker, Western Christian

The senior wing scored a game-high 14 points, including nine in the fourth quarter, helping the Pioneers record a 59-47 win over Kennedy in a Tri-River Conference playoff game at Kennedy High School.

Layne Stricker, Southridge

The senior forward had a double-double, with 11 points and 12 rebounds, as he helped the Skyhawks post a 64-59 win over Westview in a Metro League game played at Westview High School.

Kellen Sullivan, Corvallis

The senior guard scored a game-high 27 points, connecting on five 3-point baskets in the process, helping the Spartans post a 65-31 win over West Albany in a Mid-Willamette Conference game played at Corvallis High School.

Zac Takara, Lake Oswego

Takara, the student manager for the Lakers, suited up on the team’s senior night, on the insistence of the squad, and ended up sinking a basket for the team it its 54-36 win over Oregon City in a Three Rivers League game. Takara has been part of the Lake Oswego program for four years.

Gray Thompson, Central Catholic

The junior scored a game-high 29 points, sinking six 3-point baskets in the process, for the Rams in their 77-38 victory over Centennial in a Mt. Hood Conference contest.

Zeke Viuhkola, West Linn

The senior guard scored a game-high 23 points, going 8 for 8 from the free throw line, while also grabbing seven rebounds for the Lions in their 71-61 win over Canby in a Three Rivers League game. Viuhkola had 18 points and eight rebounds in a 58-46 victory over Tigard.

Cole Weien, Corbett

The junior scored a team-high 21 points, helping the Cardinals post a 63-61 win over Madras in a Tri-Valley Conference game played at Corbett High School.
