Texas Longhorns, Alabama Crimson Tide commits put on show in Saraland win

Four-star Texas commit KJ Lacey passed for seven touchdowns, three of which went to five-star Alabama commit Ryan Williams

Nationally-ranked Saraland (Alabama) feautres one of the nations best quarterback-receiver duos in KJ Lacey and Ryan Williams.

The four-star Texas Longhorns commit Lacey and five-star Alabama Crimson Tide commit Williams have lit up defenses and scoreboards all season.

The talented pair did it again in their latest outing.

Lacey tossed seven touchdowns, three of which went to Williams, as Saraland improved to 7-0 this season with a 59-20 win over Blount

Lacey completed 11 of 14 passes for 242 yards and seven scores. Williams had five catches for 136 yards and three scores.

The seven touchdown passes was a season-high for Lacey, while Williams notched his second game in a row with three touchdown catches.

Lacey is the nation’s No. 3 quarterback and No. 52 overall recruit in the class of 2025, per the 247Sports composite rankings.

Williams is the No. 1 wide receiver and No. 4 overall recruit in the class of 2025. 

Saraland entered the matchup at No. 15 in the SBLive/Sports Illustrated Power 25 national rankings.

Saraland opened its 2023 campaign with a win over Lipscomb Academy (Tennessee), which was ranked No. 24 in the country at the time.
