Carl Albert defeats Del City 35-14 to repeat as OSSAA Class 5A champions

Two undefeated, neighboring Oklahoma powers go head-to-head in the Class 5A state championship football game on Saturday. Del City (13-0) and Midwest City Carl Albert (13-0) are going head-to-head in a rematch from the 2022 postseason, where Carl Albert knocked out Del City.

The game kicked off at 1 p.m. (central time) at Chad Richison Stadium at University of Central Oklahoma.

The matchup features some of the best players in Oklahoma. Carl Albert boasts Xavier Robinson (Oklahoma commit), Kevin Sperry (Oklahoma commit), Marcus James (Oklahoma commit), Trystan Haynes and Trynae Washington (Oklahoma commit).

Del City is led by Rodney Fields (Oklahoma State commit), LaDainian Fields (TCU commit), Aaron Carter, River Warren, Braelon Adamah and Darreyl Thomas.
