It will be a star-studded affair Friday night in Charlotte for one of North Carolina’s most anticipated high school basketball games of the season.

North Mecklenburg and five-star Duke commit Isaiah Evans are set to take on nationally ranked Myers Park and its three-headed monster of Bishop Boswell (Tennessee), Sir Mohammed (Notre Dame) and Sadiq White (top-30 junior) in the North Carolina (NCHSAA) 4A state quarterfinals on Friday. 

Myers Park (27-2) enters the matchup at No. 11 in the SBLive/Sports Illustrated Power 25 national rankings. North Mecklenburg (27-3), which is undefeated against in-state competition, nearly cracked the top 25 at one point early in the season.

The game is being streamed on the NFHS Network and is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 p.m. ET.

FOURTH QUARTER

-- Tennessee signee Bishop Boswell joins the collection of fouled-out stars on the benches, but it won't matter with 11 seconds left. The clock runs out, as North Mecklenburg wins 79-63 to advance to the NCHSAA 4A state semifinals.

-- North Mecklenburg sophomore Exzavier Young puts an exclamation points on the victory with a thunderous slam dunk in the final seconds. 

-- Now Sadiq White fouls out for Myers Park, joining Sir Mohammed on the bench with five fouls. With Isaiah Evans fouled out for North Mecklenburg, that's three of the games four best players done early.

-- Isaiah Evans fouls out with 1:05 to go and North Mecklenburg leading 70-55. That ends his chance of scoring 50 points and helps Myers Park chances of a miracle comeback.

-- Isaiah Evans goes 4-for-4 at the free throw line to give North Mecklenburg a 67-50 lead, and the Vikings and their fans are sensing the impending victory.

-- Bishop Boswell finds Sadiq White down low for an easy basket, and the score is the closest it's been since the third quarter. North Mecklenburg leads 63-50 with 2:24 left.

-- Isaiah Evan's isn't done yet. The Duke signee drops in another three to push North Mecklenburg's lead to 63-44 with less than four minutes to go. 

-- Ashton King goes 1-for-2 at the free throw line and cuts the lead to 15 points with four minutes to go. The Mustangs are leaving some crucial points at the line, but they're slowly chipping away at the lead.

-- Sadiq White blocks a layup attempt by Isaiah Evans, but the four-star junior misses a pair of free throws on the other end.

-- Sir Mohammed scores a pair of baskets, cutting the lead down to 16 points. Time is not on Myers Park's side with less than six minutes to go. 

THIRD QUARTER

-- Exzavier Young goes 2-for-2 at the free throw line to extend North Mecklenburg's lead to 20 points. The Vikings are on a 41-11 run and lead 56-36 entering the fourth quarter. 

-- Myers Park is defending Isaiah Evans fairly well, but it doesn't matter. The five-star forward pours in another three to make it 48-32 in favor of North Mecklenburg.

-- Evans buries another three pointer in traffic. The McDonald's All-American is putting on a show in front of a packed gym at Myers Park.

-- Evans can't miss. He nails a three with a defender in his face to extend the Vikings' lead to 12 points.

-- Isaiah Evans is balling out. He eurosteps his way to the basket for two points, and North Mecklenburg now leads by nine points early in the second half.

-- Isaiah Evans makes a three pointer and is fouled on the shot. The Duke signee makes the free throw to put North Mecklenburg ahead 37-30.

-- Sadiq White scores on the opening possession of the second half. That's a good sign for the Mustangs, who struggled mightily to score late in the first half.

SECOND QUARTER

-- Isaiah Evans goes 2-for-2 at the free throw line with 2.5 seconds left, and Bishop Boswell's long three misses as time expires. After falling behind by 10 points, North Mecklenburg finishes the quarter on a 16-1 run and leads by five at halftime.

-- Carson Evans hits a pair of free throws to give North Mecklenburg its first lead, and Isaiah Evans throws down a dunk over a defender to extend the Vikings lead to 29-26 .

-- North Mecklenburg junior Chadlyn Traylor nails a stepback three-pointer to tie the game, 25-25.

-- The scoring has slowed down in the second quarter after a fast-paced first quarter. Myers Park, now on a bit of a scoreless drought, leads 25-22 with 2:28 to go in the half.

-- North Mecklenburg cuts it back to a three-point game with a basket and a pair of free throws by sophomore Exzavier Young.

-- Myers Park jumps on North Mecklenburg in the first minute, as Ashton King backs down a defender for a bucket then Bishop Boswell scores in transition after a turnover. The Mustangs have their largest lead of the night at 25-15.

FIRST QUARTER

-- Tennessee signee Bishop Boswell drives to the baskets and finishes a tough layup through contact. Myers Park leads 21-15 after one quarter.

-- Top-30 junior Sadiq White throws down a slam to put Myers Park ahead 16-13, and then the forward blocks a shot on the other end. 

-- A turnover by Myers Park leads to an open dunk for Isaiah Evans to tie the game, 11-11.

-- Both team are feeling it from long range. After Sir Mohammed and Ashton King make three pointers for Myers Park, five-star Isaiah Evans hits a three for North Mecklenburg. 

-- Sir Mohammed scores again, this time from long range. Myers Park leads 8-4 after two and a half minutes.

-- Trey Maxwell, the son of former NBA standout Vernon Maxwell, makes a three pointer to put North Mecklenburg on the board.

-- Myers Park wins the tipoff and Notre Dame signee Sir Mohammed gets to the basket for an easy two points. Mustangs junior Ashton King hits a three on the next possession to make it 5-0 in the opening minute.
