Week 6 of the 2024 North Dakota high school football season is here and High School on SI is debuting its first computer rankings of the season for the state.

Coming in at the No. 1 spot in the latest Class AAA computer rankings are the Fargo Davies Eagles with an impressive 4-0 record to start the season. Right behind them at No. 2 spot are the Bismarck Demons coming off a impressive victory against Shanely.

A quick look at the Class AA rankings show undefeated Red River at the top with West Fargo Horace and Minot North trailing behind in the No. 2 and No. 3 positions.

SBLive's formula was created using its linear algebra-based ranking algorithm inspired by the Colley Bias-Free Ranking Method. Colley’s Method was created by Wes Colley, Ph.D., an astrophysicist at the University of Alabama at Huntsville. He devised his algorithm to help address the subjectivity and controversy regarding BCS college football selections in the 1990s and early 2000s, using a method that used no subjective variables.

Here are SBLive's latest North Dakota football computer rankings, as of Sept. 25, 2024:
