Congratulations to Pickerington Central boys basketball small forward/power forward Devin Royal for being voted SBLive’s Ohio High School Athlete of the Week for March 14-20!
The junior had 20 points and four rebounds to secure the Tigers’ second Division I state championship in program history with a 55-48 win over Centerville.

Rachel Crumbacher, Avon girls lacrosse
Had two goals and two assists as the Eagles defeated Magnificat in both teams’ season opener, 7-3.
Gabe Cupps, Centerville boys basketball
The Indiana commit had 14 points and four assists in a loss to Pickerington Central in the state final.
Mekhi Elmore, Cincinnati Taft boys basketball
Led his team to its first Division III state title since 2011 with 18 points, four assists and three steals in a 48-45 win vs. Ottawa-Glandorf.
Rayvon Griffith, Cincinnati Taft boys basketball
Griffith had 12 points, grabbed five rebounds and grabbed three steals vs. Ottawa-Glandorf.
Sencire Harris, St. Vincent-St. Mary boys basketball
The Illinois commit led his program to its 10th title in school history behind 17 points, four rebounds and seven assists to rout Gilmour Academy 63-35.
Lance Hayes, St. Vincent-St. Mary boys basketball
Executed on both sides of the ball, finishing with 11 points, six rebounds, three assists and four steals vs. Gilmour Academy.
Matt Kempton, St. Ignatius boys lacrosse
'Had four goals in a 12-8 win over Olentangy Liberty in St. Ignatius' season opener.
Francis Laneve, Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin boys lacrosse
Had three goals in an 8-6 season opener win vs. Chardon.
Ava Miller, Lake girls lacrosse
The senior led her team with six goals and three assists as the Blue Streaks took down the Archbishop Hoban Knights 14-7.
Andrew Mueller, Holy Name boys lacrosse
Had three goals and five assists in a dominant 18-4 win over Clay (Oregon) to improve to 2-0 this season.
Layne Sarver, Tri-Village boys basketball
Had a team-high 13 points, three blocks and four steals in a loss to Richmond Heights.
Colin White, Ottawa-Glandorf boys basketball
The sophomore had a team-high 18 points, seven rebounds and two assists to finish as state runner-up vs. Cincinnati Taft.
Luciano Yacovone, St. Ignatius boys lacrosse
Had three goals and five assists to pace the Wildcats to a win over Olentangy Liberty.
