The senior kept the Division II semifinal game against Ontario scoreless with a diving catch in right center

Congratulations to AJ Dallmayer of Washington Court House Washington, as his diving catch from the state semifinals was voted as top play from 2023 OHSAA baseball state tournament.

With the Division II state semifinal game against Ontario scoreless in the third inning, Ontario had a runner on second with two outs. Jayden Leach lifted a fly ball to right center that looked like it was going to drop to score a run, but Dallmayer tracked it down and fully extended to make the diving catch.

Dallmayer's catch received 58.40% of the nearly 10,000 votes cast.
