Ohio high school football playoffs Division IV roundup: West Branch, Indian Valley, Clinton-Massie among winners in second round (11/03/2023)
The Ohio High School Athletic Association playoffs continued Friday night with 224 teams vying for a state championship across seven divisions, with 32 teams in each divisions broken into eight teams per region.
In Division IV, the top four seeds - Canton South, Perkins, Steubenville, and Clinton-Massie all advanced to the next round with home wins.

Second round games of note:
West Branch 31, Streetsboro 28
Streetsboro, the No. 5 seed in Region 13, took a 28-24 lead early in the fourth quarter, but West Branch answered right back.
Joey Jackson fielded the ensuing kickoff and returned it 80 yards for a touchdown to give the lead back to the Warriors, who are the No. 4 seed in the Region.
Indian Valley 34, Bishop Ready 13
A week after taking out fourth-seeded Logan Elm in Region 15, the No. 13 seed was at it again on Friday night in knocking out the No. 5 seed.
After trailing 10-7, Indian Valley scored 21 straight points to take control of the game after scoring on its first possession of the second half.
The Braves will now face top-seeded Steubenville in the regional semifinals.
Clinton-Massie 24, Archbishop McNicholas 23, OT
The top seed in Region 16 needed overtime to survive to the next round.
With the teams tied 17-17 at the end of regulation, McNicholas scored on its possession over overtime but the PAT was unsuccessful.
Clinton-Massie then scored on its possession and a successful PAT moved the Falcons to the regional semifinals, where they will face No. 5 Indian Hill.
