Ohio high school football playoffs 2023: Division VI brackets, matchups, predictions for regional semifinals

The OHSAA football playoffs continues last week with 224 teams vying for a state title throughout Ohio's seven divisions.

We are now down to 112 teams, with four teams left in each region and 16 teams remaining in each division.

All regional semifinal games will be played on Friday, Nov. 10 at a neutral site determined by the OHSAA. The state semifinal pairings will be announced following the regional finals..

The seven OHSAA football State championship games will be played in Canton at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium from Nov. 30-Dec. 2.

Division VI, Region 21

Teams remaining: 1. Kirtland, 3. Mogadore, 5. Cuyahoga Heights, 10. Mineral Ridge

Regional semifinal matchups and locations:

1 Kirtland (11-1) vs. 5 Cuyahoga Heights (10-1) at Macedonia Nordonia High School Boliantz Stadium

3 Mogadore (9-2) vs. 10 Mineral Ridge (8-4) at Salem High School Sebo Stadium

Predicted regional semifinal winners: Kirtland and Mogadore

Predicted region winner: Kirtland

Division VI, Region 22

Teams remaining: 1. Columbus Grove, 2. Bluffton, 4. Carey, 6. Ottawa Hills

Regional semifinal matchups and locations:

1 Columbus Grove (10-2) vs. 4 Carey (10-2) at Fostoria High School Memorial Stadium

2 Bluffton (11-1) vs. 6 Toledo Ottawa Hills (11-1) at Napoleon High School Buckenmeyer Stadium

Predicted regional semifinal winners: Carey and Bluffton

Division VI, Region 23

Teams remaining: 1. Garaway, 2. West Jefferson, 3. Fort Frye, 4. Northmor

Regional semifinal matchups and locations:

1 Sugarcreek Garaway (12-0) vs. 4 Galion Northmor (10-2) at Heath High School

2 West Jefferson (11-1) vs. 3 Beverly Fort Frye (9-2) at Lancaster High School Fulton Field

Predicted regional semifinal winners: Garaway and West Jefferson

Division VI, Region 24

Teams remaining:  2. Versailles, 3. Cincinnati Country Day, 5. Tri-Village, 8. Anna

Regional semifinal matchups and locations:

5 New Madson Tri-Village (11-1) vs. 8 Anna (7-5) at Lima Senior Spartan Stadium

2 Versailles (10-2) vs. 3 Cincinnati Country Day (12-0) at Xenia High School Doug Adams Stadium

Predicted regional semifinal winners: Tri-Village and Versailles
