Purdue lands Akron East running back Ziaire Stevens

The 2023 Akron City Series Offensive Player of the Year committed to the Boilermakers on Tuesday

AKRON, Ohio - The 2023 Akron City Series Offensive Player of the Year will be heading west to play his college football, as Akron East running back Ziaire Stevens has committed to Purdue.

The 5-foot-10, 185-pound running back announced his decision on social media Tuesday.

Stevens, the No. 38th rated player in Ohio's Class of 2025 according to 247Sports, took home the top offensive honor in the Akron City Series this past season after rushing for more than 2,000 yards and 20 touchdowns in helping lead East to the City Series championship.
