Kirtland vs. Versailles preview: Ohio high school football Division VI state championship notes, history, prediction
The OHSAA football playoffs are down to the last 14 teams standing, as the final two teams in each division will take the field in Canton this weekend for a chance to hoist the championship hardware.

The seven OHSAA football State championship games will be played in Canton at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium from Nov. 30-Dec. 2. The Division VI state championship will be on Friday, Dec. 1 at 10:30 am.

Versailles: 7 (2021, 2003, 1998, 1995, 1994, 1993, 1990)
Notes: The only one of the seven state championship games between teams having at least five state titles each.
Both teams saw their season end last year to Marion Local, who won the state title in Division VI before dropping back down to Division VII for this year. Versailles fell in the regional semifinals to the Flyers, while Kirtland lost the state championship game.
This is also a rematch of the 2021 Division V stats championship game whish was won by Versailles 20-16.
