Live updates: Olmsted Falls defeats Springboro in OHSAA girls basketball Division I state championship game
DAYTON, Ohio - Olmsted Falls and Springboro will meet up on Saturday night in the OHSAA Division I girls basketball state championship game at the University of Dayton Arena.
Last season's Division I runner-up, Olmsted Falls enters the game at 25-3 and advanced to the state championship with a 62-38 win over Magnificat.
Springboro is 24-5 and enter Saturday's title game after defeating Pickerington Central 63-54 in the semifinals behind a Division I state tournament record 38 points from Bryn Martin.
Both teams are looking for their first state title.

First quarter updates:
3:22 left 1Q: Springboro leads 7-2.
The Panthers opened the scoring with a layup by Chloe Downing and then after each team hit a pair of free throws, Morgan Meek hit a 3-pointer from the corner for Springboro.
Olmsted Falls has started 0-of-7 from the field.
End 1Q: Springboro leads 11-9 after one quarter.
Meek had a steal and a layup for Springboro to get the lead to 9-2 and Bryn Martin knocked down a 15-foot jumper.
Olmsted Falls started to heat up a little, as Maddie Cerovac and Emma Schaefer both knocked down 3-pointers.
Second quarter updates:
5:53 left 2Q: Danielle Cameron has put Olmsted Falls on her back, knocking down a 3, getting a steal and a layup and then a defensive rebound and brought it up court for another triple. Olmsted Falls leads 17-13.
3:10 left 2Q: At the media timeout, Olmsted Falls leads 19-13.
The earlier run by Cameron all happened in 35 seconds.
End 2Q: Olmsted Falls leads 20-17 at the half.
In the second quarter, it was Springboro who got cold, going just 1-of-5 fromthe floor, missing the last five field goal attempts.
Cameron leads the way with 10 points for Olmsted Falls, while Bryn Martin has six points for Springboro.
Third quarter updates:
1:57 left 3Q: Olmsted Falls holds a 32-28 lead in part because the Bulldogs have hit three 3-pointers in the quarter. Jessica Wolanin, Grace Largent and Cameron have all connected from deep.
Aniya Trent (eight points) and Bryn Martin (three points) have done all the scoring in the quarter for Springboro.
End 3Q: Olmsted Falls leads 35-33 after 24 minutes.
Martin and Cameron each have 14 points to lead their respective teams.
Fourth quarter updates:
3:14 left 4Q: Olmsted Falls leads 41-38.
Jesse Simon and Cerovac have each hit a 3-pointer for Olmsted Falls, while Martinhit a 3-pointer for Springboro and Ava Wade made a layup.
FINAL: Olmsted Falls defeats Springboro 52-45 to win the Division I state title.
