Here are the candidates for SBLive Oklahoma’s high school athlete of the week for March 7-13. Read through the nominees and cast your vote. Voting will conclude Sunday at 11:59 p.m. If you would like to make a nomination in a future week, email nate@scorebooklive.com.

Laci Steele, Edmond North girls basketball

Steele scored a total of 53 points in the Lady Huskies' run to the 6A state championship. She had 20 points in their 72-37 quarterfinal win against Stillwater, 21 points in a 55-35 semifinal win against Sand Springs and 12 points while going 5-of-5 from the free-throw line in North's 59-57 overtime win against Bixby for the title. 

Elle Papahronis, Edmond North girls basketball

Papahronis averaged 12 points and reached double figures in all three state tournament games. She had 12 against Stillwater in the quarterfinals, 14 against Sand Springs in the semifinals and 10 points along with six rebounds in the title-game win against Bixby.

Toni Papahronis, Edmond North girls basketball

Papahronis averaged more than 10 points in the state tournament title run. In the championship game against Bixby in overtime, she had 21 points and seven rebounds, and hit the game-winning shot as time expired.

Stevie Stinchcomb, McAlester girls basketball

Stinchcomb scored a total of 50 points in the Lady Buffaloes' run to the 5A championship. She had 24 points and three 3-pointers in a 42-39 quarterfinal win against Midwest City, 10 points in a 56-40 semifinal win against Tulsa Rogers and 16 points in the 53-49 win against El Reno for the title.

Elizabeth Milligan, McAlester girls basketball

Milligan scored 35 total points in the Lady Buffs' title run, including 17 in the semifinal against Tulsa Rogers and 10 in the title-game win against El Reno.

Jayda Holiman, McAlester girls basketball

Holiman averaged more than 10 points in the three 5A tournament wins. She scored 10 in the semifinal win against Tulsa Rogers and 16 points in the title-game win against El Reno.

Darianna Littlepage-Buggs, Classen SAS girls basketball

Littlepage-Buggs scored a total of 47 points as the Lady Comets captured their first-ever state championship. The McDonald's All-American had 16 points on 8-of-8 shooting along with nine rebounds in their 53-24 quarterfinal win against Blanchard; 15 points and 16 boards in their 62-46 semifinal win against Holland Hall; then had 16 points on 8-of-14 shooting along with 11 rebounds in the 55-22 win against Tuttle in the championship game.

Jordan Harrison, Classen SAS girls basketball

A senior point guard, Harrison averaged 13 points in the three 4A state tournament wins. She scored 12 and made two 3's in the quarterfinals, 17 points and made all eight free-throw attempts in the semifinals and 10 points and two 3's in the title game.

Micah Gray, Classen SAS girls basketball

Gray also averaged 13 points for the Lady Comets in their 4A title run, scoring in double figures in all three games. She had 14 points and two 3's against Blanchard, 12 points against Holland Hall and 13 points and three 3's against Tuttle.

Boston Berry, Jones girls basketball

Berry averaged 15 points as the Lady Longhorns repeated as 3A state champs. She had 18 points in their 51-33 semifinal win against Perry and had 19 points, five rebounds and 7-of-8 free throws in the 65-41 title-game win against Idabel.

Zoe Tucker, Jones girls basketball

Tucker scored 19 points on 7-of-9 shooting in the title game win. She also made two 3's and had three assists.

Sofi Woodson, Jones girls basketball

Woodson averaged 12.3 points during the Lady Longhorns' march to the title. In a 48-35 quarterfinal win against Keys, she had 20 points and 12 rebounds, while adding 11 points in the semifinal win against Perry.

Allyssa Parker, Pocola girls basketball

A freshman, Parker averaged 16.7 points as the Lady Indians captured the 2A state title. She had 18 points on 8-of-12 shooting in a 41-35 quarterfinal win against Merritt and then had 26 points on 10-of-18 shooting while going 6-of-8 from the line in a 63-62 overtime win against Dale in the semifinals. Parker also hit the game-clinching free throw in the championship game as Pocola defeated LeFlore County rival Howe, 40-36.

Mika Scott, Pocola girls basketball

The lone senior on the Lady Indians' roster, Scott averaged 13 points in the state tournament. She had 21 points and 11 rebounds in the semifinal win against Dale and also had nine points against Howe.

Kylee Smith, Pocola girls basketball

Smith was the Lady Indians' leading scorer in the title game with 12 points. She added 10 points in the semifinals against Dale.

Dylan Warlick, Edmond North boys basketball

Warlick scored 64 total points through three games in helping lead the Huskies to the 6A championship. He had 20 points and 18 rebounds in their 62-52 quarterfinal win against Jenks, 16 points and 14 rebounds in their 76-69 win against Booker T. Washington and 28 points and 10 rebounds in the Huskies' 56-50 title win against Moore.

T.O. Barrett, Edmond North boys basketball

Barrett had 40 total points in the Huskies' three wins en route to the 6A title. In the quarterfinals against Jenks, he had 16 points and three assists and also had 17 points, five assists and three steals in the win against Booker T. Washington.

TJ Strong, Edmond North boys basketball

Strong scored a total of 31 points through the Huskies' three state tournament wins.

Ty Frierson, Tulsa Memorial boys basketball

Frierson scored a total of 69 points during the Chargers' run to the 5A championship. He had 23 with seven assists in a 78-37 quarterfinal win against Midwest City, 24 points with four assists in a 75-50 semifinal win against Oklahoma City Southeast and then 22 points with four steals in the Chargers' 59-47 win against Del City for the title.

Bradyn Hubbard, Tulsa Memorial boys basketball

Hubbard scored 40 total points in Memorial's three 5A state tournament wins. In the semifinal win against Southeast, he had 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.

Jarreth Ingram, Tulsa Memorial boys basketball

Ingram scored 35 total points in Memorial's three wins en route to the 5A title. He had 11 of those in the championship game against Del City.

Chase Davis, Kingfisher boys basketball

Davis averaged 13 points during the Yellowjackets' three-game run to another 4A championship, their third in a row. He had 16 points and six rebounds in their 39-36 semifinal win against Crossings Christian and then had 14 points and made four 3-pointers in the 51-43 title-game win against Victory Christian.

Xavier Ridenour, Kingfisher boys basketball

Ridenour scored 35 total points in Kingfisher's run to the 4A title. He had 15 points and three assists against Victory Christian, and also had nine points in the semifinal win against Crossings Christian.

Caden Kitchens, Kingfisher boys basketball

Kitchens scored 11 points in the Yellowjackets' semifinal win against Crossings Christian.

Jaden Nickens, Oklahoma City Millwood boys basketball

A freshman, Nickens averaged 15.3 points during the Falcons' run to the 3A championship. He had 19 points in their 56-39 quarterfinal win against Kingston, and had 19 points on 8-of-14 shooting in their 53-50 title-game win against Community Christian.

Chance Davis, Oklahoma City Millwood boys basketball

Davis scored 10 points in the title-game win against Community Christian, including the game-winning 3-pointer as time expired.

Darius Jones, Oklahoma City Millwood boys basketball

Jones scored 12 points in the Falcons' 44-42 win against Marlow in the 3A semifinal round.

Dayton Forsythe, Dale boys basketball

Forsythe had a tremendous 2A state tournament, averaging 29 points in the Pirates' march to the title. He had 32 points, 12 rebounds and six assists in Dale's 60-43 quarterfinal win against Hooker, 18 points, eight boards and seven assists in a 66-38 semifinal win against Silo and then in the title game, had 37 points, eight rebounds and four assists in the Pirates' 65-58 win against Cashion.

Deken Jones, Dale boys basketball

Jones averaged 13.3 points for the Pirates en route to the state championship. He scored 15 points in Dale's semifinal win against Silo.
