Two state baseball tournaments and regionals for five classifications were officially announced Monday afternoon by the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association.

State tournaments for classes A and B will begin on Thursday, ending with championship games that take place Saturday in Shawnee.

The entire Class A tournament will be held in Shawnee with Thursday's quarterfinals and Friday's semifinals.

Dewar and Sterling open the tournament with an 11 a.m. game Thursday, followed at 1:30 p.m. by Canute facing Hydro-Eakly. The winners of those two games square off in Friday's semifinal, set for 11 a.m.

At 4 p.m. Thursday, Red Oak faces Pioneer-Pleasant Vale, while at 6:30 p.m., Tushka takes on Rattan. Those winners face off in Friday's semifinal set for 1:30 p.m.

On Saturday, the Class A championship game is set for noon at Shawnee.

Thursday's Class B quarterfinals and Friday's semifinals take place at Dolese Park in Oklahoma City.

The opening quarterfinal, at 11 a.m., pits Caney against Glencoe, followed at 1:30 p.m. by Roff taking on Granite. Those two winners face off in a Friday semifinal set for 11 a.m.

At 4 p.m. Thursday, Tupelo takes on Lookeba-Sickles, while Boswell faces Fort Cobb-Broxton at 6:30 p.m. Those two winners face off in a 1:30 p.m. Friday semifinal.

Saturday's Class B title game is set for 3 p.m. in Shawnee.

Regional pairings have also been released for classes 6A through 2A. There will be eight four-team regionals, with play beginning on Thursday and concluding on Saturday, with the winners of each regional moving on to next week's 2A-6A state tournaments, set for May 12-14.

There will be a total of potentially seven games for each regional. First round games start at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, with the winners meeting later that day at 4 p.m., and the losers of the two first-round games playing an elimination game at 6:30 p.m.

On Friday at 4 p.m., the winners of the 6:30 p.m. Thursday games face the losers of the 4 p.m. Thursday games. Those winners will meet the winners of the 4 p.m. Thursday games at 6:30 p.m. Friday in the championship round.

If necessary, an additional championship game is set for 2 p.m. on Saturday to decide the regional winner.

The following are the opening-round pairings for the 6A-2A regionals, with the home team listed first and in bold. The first listed games will be the 11 a.m. Thursday games, and the second listed games are the 1:30 p.m. Thursday contests.

There will be one 5A regional which will utilize a round-robin format, the 5A East regional in Sapulpa, since only three teams are involved. Each team plays one another on Thursday.
