It was another intriguing week of high school football as the regular season begins to wind down. There were impressive performances on both Thursday and Friday night and we will showcase some of the individual performances below.

Rickey Hunt Jr., OKC Millwood

Hunt had a big night in the Falcons' important 40-13 win at Oklahoma Christian School with first place in District 2A-1 on the line.

He finished the night with four touchdowns, including a 68-yard run and a 71-yard reception in the first half as Millwood finished with 533 yards of total offense.

Ike Owens, Jenks

The Trojan offense scored 90 points in a 90-9 win against Southmoore. That is a school record that dates back to 1944.

Owens passed for 241 yards, completing 12-of-15 attempts, and four touchdowns while adding a rushing TD. 

Jino Boyd, Tulsa Union

In the Redhawks' 62-21 win against Edmond Santa Fe on Thursday night, Boyd had two touchdown catches and a 34-yard punt return, which he returned for a touchdown.

Emmanuel Crawford, Grove

The Ridgerunners met up with Collinsville on Friday night and handed the Cardinals their first regular-season loss since 2019. Crawford assisted Grove in the win, gaining 319 yards of total offense and scoring four touchdowns.

Brandon Davis-Barcus, Shawnee

Despite a tough loss to Piedmont, Davis-Barcus had a great night, accounting for 25 tackles, three tackles for loss and 106 yards on offense. He also scored a touchdown.

Judah Byrams, Victory Christian

Byrams scored three touchdowns in a 44-14 win against Sperry. He added over 150 yards on the ground on the way to the victory.

The win put the Conquerors in a tie for second in Class 2A-7.

Carter Freeland, Ada

In an impressive 47-7 win against Fort Gibson, the Ada quarterback threw for 202 yards and tossed six touchdowns.

Cooper Lai, Cascia Hall

In a big Class 3A-4 matchup against Bristow, Lai came up huge at the quarterback position for the Commandos as they walked away with a 56-22 win.

He was 16-of-20 passing for 255 yards. Lai tossed two touchdowns and ran for three more, and he even returned a fumble on defense for another TD.

Kirk Francis, Metro Christian

Francis helped Metro Christian defeat Mannford, 55-6. He passed for 264 yards and three touchdowns.

The team also had five rushing touchdowns in the second quarter.

Ashton Wright, Oologah

In a 22-18 win against Miami, Wright ran for 164 yards and a touchdown.

His effort helped the Mustangs improve to an 18-3 overall record over Miami, including winning eight straight.

Jaxon Woods, Hominy

Woods was responsible for all four touchdowns in Hominy’s 27-21 win against Tonkawa.

He accounted for more than 260 yards of total offense in the win that put the Bucks in position to win the district title.

Gunner Dozier, Gore

On just 14 carries, Dozier had 308 yards. He had five touchdowns in a 62-0 win against Panama.

Chase Smith, Chelsea

Chelsea defeated Pawnee 30-14, which will clinch the Green Dragons their first winning season since 2011 and the win likely clinched a playoff spot as well.

Smith had 306 yards of total offense, scoring three touchdowns in the win.

AJ Lyons-Jerrell, Pocola

In a 54-14 win against Haskell, Lyons-Jerrell ran the ball for 350 yards and four touchdowns. He also had 111 yards passing and threw for a touchdown.

DeSean Mays, Vian

In a 51-12 win against Keys, Mays had 301 yards rushing on only 12 carries for Vian.

He added four touchdown runs. Three of those runs came from more than 56 yards out.

Houston Herrin, Apache

Apache handed Walters its first loss of the year on Friday night. Herrin scored both touchdowns for the Warriors and ran for 172 yards.

The Apache defense held Walters to negative yardage.

Caden Humphries, Pioneer-Pleasant Vale

In an impressive win against Yale, Humphries had 311 yards rushing and scored six touchdowns.

Weston O’Rourke, Copan

The Hornets trailed Watts 22-0 in the third quarter before finishing the game on a 54-14 run to win, 54-36. O’Rourke was a major part of the comeback, as he had six touchdowns on the night.

O’Rourke had touchdown runs of 30 , 25 and 23 yards. He also caught a pass from 25 yards out.

Trenden Collins, Muldrow

Collins rushed for 239 yards on 28 carries for 239 yards with three touchdowns as Muldrow defeated Locust Grove, 36-14. He also had a pair of two-point conversions.

The Bulldogs' win sets up a huge showdown at home next Friday against Lincoln Christian for the District 3A-3 title.

Jake Tucker, Tuttle

Tucker returned an interception for a TD and a fumble for another score in the Tigers' 40-6 win against Tecumseh. He also finished with 10 total tackles, one sack and one tackle for loss.

Andy Bass, OKC Heritage Hall

Bass completed 12-of-17 passes and four TDs, all coming in the first half, as the Chargers went on to defeat Planview, 50-14, while staying undefeated in District 3A-2 action.

Dalton Person, Verdigris

Person caught six passes for 152 yards and two TDs as the Cardinals posted a 56-28 win against Jay.

Brody Becker, Luther

The Lions' quarterback completed 11-of-12 passes for 300 yards and five TDs, while adding 60 yards rushing and two TDs, in Luther's 81-62 win against Meeker.

Jack Deringer, Quapaw

Deringer was 21-of-25 passing for 373 yards and three TDs, and also had 41 yards rushing as Quapaw posted a 37-0 win against Ketchum.

Brayden Barber, Kiefer

Barber was responsible for all four of his team's touchdowns as Kiefer improved to 8-0 with a 28-14 win at Beggs.

He caught three TD passes, part of his five receptions for 83 yards on the night. In addition, Barber intercepted two passes on defense, including an 85-yard pick-six which sealed the win.

Klay Brinkley, Arkoma

Brinkley passed for 209 yards, completing 10-of-13 attempts, for 209 yards with two touchdowns in the Mustangs' 52-6 win against Gans. He also had nine carries for 50 yards with two touchdowns.

Austin Jones, Elk City

Jones completed only two passes on Thursday night, but both went for touchdowns totaling 92 yards in the Elks' pivotal 22-12 win at Weatherford to put them in sole possession of the District 4A-1 lead.

Jones also added a rushing TD in the win.

Tristen Russell, Mustang

Russell completed 11-of-18 passes for 297 yards and five TDs as the Broncos secured a 49-10 win at Norman.

Shane Feeback, Cache

Feeback provided the game-winning PAT kick as the Bulldogs kept their playoff hopes alive with a 37-36 overtime win against OKC John Marshall. Feeback also kicked a field goal in regulation.

Connor Kirby, Bixby

The Spartans' QB passed for two TDs and ran for three more as Bixby made it 57 straight wins after a 73-6 home win against Westmoore.

Kayden Jones, Broken Arrow

Jones rushed for 135 yards on 16 carries and a TD, part of a 321-yard performance on the ground by the Tigers in their 45-24 home win against Enid on Thursday.
