With the Oklahoma high school football season in full swing, SBLive Sports has released its 2023 Oklahoma high school football computer rankings for every classification. 

We will continue to release our computer rankings weekly for the duration of the season. 

Defending Class 6AI champion Bixby tops this week's 6AI computer rankings, while Putnam City West is ranked No. 1 in 6AII. Midwest City Carl Albert, the defending 5A state champion, is the top-ranked 5A team in the computer rankings.

SBLive's formula was created using its own linear algebra-based ranking algorithm inspired by the Colley Bias-Free Ranking Method. Colley’s Method was created by Wes Colley, Ph.D., an astrophysicist at the University of Alabama at Huntsville. He devised his algorithm to help address the subjectivity and controversy regarding BCS college football selections in the 1990s and early 2000s, using a method that used no subjective variables.
