With the Oklahoma high school football season in full swing, SBLive Sports has released its latest 2023 Oklahoma high school football computer rankings for every classification. 

We will continue to release our computer rankings weekly for the duration of the season.

Bixby, which continues to be the No. 1 ranked team in Class 6AI, is the only unbeaten squad in the class. Choctaw tops this week's 6AII rankings, while Midwest City Carl Albert leads five undefeated squads in 5A. 

In 4A, Poteau leads three 5-0 squads, while there are also three 5-0 teams in 3A, headed up by Lincoln Christian.

SBLive's formula was created using its own linear algebra-based ranking algorithminspired by the Colley Bias-Free Ranking Method. Colley’s Method was created by Wes Colley, Ph.D., an astrophysicist at the University of Alabama at Huntsville. He devised his algorithm to help address the subjectivity and controversy regarding BCS college football selections in the 1990s and early 2000s, using a method that used no subjective variables.
