Players to watch at the Oregon 6A girls basketball state tournament

The OSAA 6A girls basketball state tournament begins Thursday at Chiles Center in Portland. Here's a look at some of the top players to watch at the event.

G Sara Barhoum, fr., Clackamas
Barhoum, a 5-foot-10 guard, is one of seven freshmen on Clackamas’ roster. She was voted first-team all-Mt. Hood Conference and is averaging 12.5 points, 2.7 assists and 1.9 steals per game.
G Zoe Borter, jr., Beaverton
The 6-foot Borter is a knockdown shooter who plays multiple positions for the Beavers. The junior can also get baskets in the paint and is a strong defender inside and out.
F Mahogany Chandler-Roberts, so., Benson
Chandler-Roberts can do it all on both ends of the court. The 6-foot-2 sophomore holds multiple Division I offers and is one of the state’s most talented all-around players.
G Jazzy Davidson, fr., Clackamas
A freshman phenom, Davidson averages 22.4 points, eight rebounds, 2.6 assists, 4.1 steals and 1.3 blocks per game. The 6-foot-1 guard has nine double-doubles and was voted Mt. Hood Conference player of the year.
G Lottie Dillard, sr., South Medford
The 5-foot-7 senior averages nine points, five rebounds and 1.4 steals for South Medford. She was voted second-team all-Southwest Conference.
G Avery Edwards, jr., Jesuit
Edwards is one of the most productive players for second-seeded Jesuit. The 5-foot-10 junior is averaging 12.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.3 assists and one steal per game.
G Reese Ericson, sr., Lakeridge
The Three Rivers League player of the year, Ericson is a four-year varsity standout who will continue her basketball career at Army. The 5-foot-6 senior point guard is filling up the stat sheet with 15.3 points, seven assists, 6.1 rebounds and 3.7 steals per game.
G Kemper Flood, sr., Lakeridge
Flood was voted second-team all-Three Rivers League following a strong regular season. The 5-foot-9 guard is averaging seven points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.
G Maurianna Hashemian-Orr, so., Benson
A 5-foot-7 sophomore point guard, Hashemian-Orr has shown great improvement during her young high school career. She is an electric ball-handler who competes on defense.
F Kendra Hicks, so., Jesuit
A rebounding machine, Hicks is nearly averaging a double-double entering the state tournament. The 6-foot-1 sophomore is pulling down 12.8 rebounds per game while also putting up 9.8 points, 0.8 assists and 0.8 steals.
G Melanie Hiu, sr., Barlow
Hiu was voted second-team all-Mt. Hood Conference as a supporting player beside go-to scorers Annie Koenig and Kennedie Shuler. The 5-foot-6 guard is averaging 7.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 2.5 steals per game.
G Donovyn Hunter, jr., South Medford
A strong all-around player, the 5-foot-11 Hunter is averaging 23 points, five rebounds, two assists and five steals per game. She was voted Southwest Conference player of the year and is a coveted college recruit.
P Audrey Kehoe, sr., West Linn
A 6-foot senior post, Kehoe received all-Three Rivers honorable mention. She is averaging 8.5 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.
G Annie Koenig, jr., Barlow
Koenig, a first-team all-Mt. Hood Conference pick, scored 25 points in the state round-of-16. The 5-foot-10 junior is putting up 15.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.9 steals per game.
G Malaya LeSueur, jr., Benson
LeSueur scored 19 of her game-high 22 points in the second half of Benson’s state round-of-16 win. The 5-foot-9 guard is also a standout on the defensive end.
F Sierra Logue, sr., South Medford
The 6-foot-3 Logue is nearly averaging a double-double this season at 14 points and nine rebounds. The first-team all-Southwest Conference selection also blocks three shots per game.
G Dylan Mogel, fr., Clackamas
Mogel was voted co-Mt. Hood Conference defensive player of the year while also receiving first-team recognition. The 5-foot-9 freshman is averaging 6.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.9 steals per game.
W Alana Molden, sr., West Linn
Standing 5-foot-6, Molden is primarily an interior player for the Lions. A standout athlete, Molden averages 6.8 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. She was voted Three Rivers League defensive player of the year and second-team all-league.
G Madison Naro, jr., Beaverton
Naro is a traditional point guard who can also light it up from long range. The 5-foot-9 junior is one of the main leaders for top-seeded Beaverton.
W Keelie O’Hollaren, jr., Lakeridge
The 5-foot-10 O’Hollaren is Lakeridge’s leading scorer at 17.3 points per game. The first-team all-Three Rivers League selection also averages 8.2 rebounds and 2.9 steals.
G Allie Roden, fr., West Linn
Younger sister of current Nevada guard Audrey Roden, Allie Roden is putting up 13.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.6 steals per game as a freshman. The 5-foot-9 guard was voted first-team all-Three Rivers League.
G Kennedie Shuler, jr., Barlow
The 5-foot-10 Shuler received first-team all-Mt. Hood honors this winter. She is doing a little of everything with averages of 17.1 points, 7.1 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 3.7 steals per game.
G Emma Sixta, jr., Jesuit
Sixta is the engine of Jesuit’s offense as a three-year varsity standout. The 5-foot-10 left-hander is averaging 14.1 points, three rebounds, 2.8 assists and 0.9 steals per game.
F Lainey Spear, jr., Beaverton
A versatile forward, Spear can be a go-to scorer and a lockdown defender for Beaverton. The 6-foot-1 junior is a strong all-around athlete with a nose for the ball.
