The Oregon Episcopal boys golf team put its four scoring golfers in the top 10 and secured a second consecutive OSAA Class 3A/2A/1A state title Tuesday at Quail Valley Golf Course in Banks.

Paced by Northwestern signee Ethan Tseng, who finished second by one shot to St. Mary’s (Medford) junior Brock Drury, the Aardvarks compiled a 615 total to defeat the Crusaders by 14 shots.

Drury shot a first-round 68, then opened his second round with a birdie to build his lead to four over Tseng. The margin closed to two shots before Drury birdied the par-5 No. 10, and he still held a three-shot lead with five holes to play.

Drury bogeyed Nos. 14, 15 and 16 to drop into a tie for the lead with Tseng. However, Tseng bogeyed No. 17 to fall out of the lead, and Drury parred No. 18 to close out his victory — the sixth in program history and first since Josh Wu won in 2016.

Tseng’s younger brother, Alex, and senior Henry Erlich finished tied for sixth for Oregon Episcopal, while junior Matthew Chan tied for ninth.
