Grant Generals name Dondrale Campbell boys basketball coach
Campbell last season led Cleveland to its first league title in 60 years.
Grant High School of Northeast Portland has announced the hiring of Dondrale Campbell as its boys basketball coach.
Campbell last season led Cleveland to its first league title in 60 years and a berth in the Class 6A state tournament. He’s a two-time PIL coach of the year.
With the Generals, Campbell will succeed Robert Key, who left after eight seasons to take the head coaching position at West Linn.
Grant’s archrival in the PIL also made coaching news recently as Jefferson announced that Pat Strickland will return to his longtime position after a one-year hiatus.
