Here are the Oregon high school volleyball stars of the week for Sept. 26-Oct. 2 as nominated by coaches, fans and readers.

Madi Andrews, Nelson

The freshman outside hitter stepped up for the Hawks in the past week. In a 3-0 victory over Barlow, she had 13 kills with a hitting percentage of .692, while also having six digs, five aces and two blocks. In a 3-0 win over Clackamas, Andrews had seven kills, seven digs, four aces and a serve receive rating of 2.0.

Taelyn Bentley, Crescent Valley

The sophomore middle blocker had a total of 74 kills and 19 blocks for the Raiders in 3-1 league wins over Silverton and West Albany and four two-set matches at the Mt. Hood Invitational.

Kinsey Brelage, Roseburg

The senior libero had 16 digs and served at a 100-percent clip in a 25-20, 25-8, 25-16 win over Grants Pass in a Southwest Conference contest at Roseburg.

Beaux Bruegman, Sheldon

The senior setter/opposite had 11 assists, eight kills and eight digs for the Irish in a 25-4, 25-6, 25-9 win over Willamette in a Southwest Conference match at Willamette High School.

Olivia Fairbanks, Franklin

The senior setter, and a team captain, might be the most versatile player on the Lightning squad. In addition to improving in her setter role, Fairbanks remains one of the team’s strongest defensive players.

Maddie Fields, Santiam Christian

The senior outside hitter stepped up with 10 kills, three aces and two blocks for the Eagles in their 25-14, 25-8, 25-17 win over Dayton in a PacWest Conference match at Dayton High School.

Amanda Gansen, Churchill

The senior setter had 26 assists, 15 digs and three aces for the Lancers in their 25-19, 23-25, 25-17, 25-15 loss to North Eugene in a Midwestern League match at North Eugene High School.

Addison Holcomb, Eagle Point

The sophomore outside hitter had 22 digs and 12 kills, helping the Eagles come away with a 21-25, 25-19, 25-20, 17-25, 15-6 win at Grants Pass in a nonleague contest.

Addie Hoover, West Linn

The senior outside hitter had 11 digs and 17 kills with a hitting percentage of .333 for the Lions in their nonleague match at Camas, Wash. Hoover had 18 kills in a 3-0 Three Rivers League win at Tigard.

Bella Jacobson, Crescent Valley

The sophomore outside hitter had a total of 77 kills, eight aces and 53 digs for the Raiders in 3-1 league wins over Silverton and West Albany and four two-set matches at the Mt. Hood Invitational.

April Jones, Glencoe

The senior middle blocker/outside hitter, with her leadership and consistency, helped the Crimson Tide get Pacific Conference victories against Century and McMinnville. Jones has a hitting percentage of .300, she’s serving at 90 percent and she has a serve receive average of 2.

Samantha Keightley, Oregon City

The senior libero/defensive specialist, and a team captain, had a big week for the Pioneers with seven aces, while serving over 93 percent, and 15 digs (giving her 181 for the season) while consistently passing above a 2.0 average.

Madison Kocina, Crater

The senior outside hitter, in tournament play, had 27 kills on 47 attempts and 14 digs in seven total sets. She also passed at 2.16 as the Comets’ primary receiver.

Lillian Lansing, Jesuit

The junior middle blocker, who has paced the team in blocks this season, had 14 kills, on a 43.8 kill percentage, helping lead the Crusaders to a 25-23, 25-22, 22-25, 25-16 win at Westview in a key Metro League match.

Audrey Lite, Franklin

The senior libero, and a team captain, has stepped up for the Lightning this season and has a serve receive passing percentage of .83.

Kali Lukovich, Nelson

The senior outside hitter had a big week for the Hawks. In a 3-0 win over Barlow, she had 16 kills with a hitting percentage of .500, while also having 14 digs and two blocks. In a 3-0 victory over Clackamas, she had 15 kills with a hitting percentage of .866 to go with two blocks.

Olivia Maulding, La Salle Prep

The senior outside hitter/middle blocker has helped the Falcons get off to an 11-2 start, including wins over Canby and Centennial in the past week. For the season, Maulding has 241 kills with a hitting percentage of .448, while also having 51 blocks and 31 aces.

Kamden Mitchell, Crescent Valley

The sophomore setter had a total of 37 kills, nine aces, 172 assists and 75 digs for the Raiders in 3-1 league wins over Silverton and West Albany and four two-set matches at the Mt. Hood Invitational.

Tatum Montiel, Marshfield

The sophomore outside hitter had a total of 28 digs, 27 kills, four aces, three blocks and a 2.31 out of 3 in serve receive, helping the Pirates get a 3-0 win over Marist Catholic and a 3-1 victory over North Bend in Sky Em League play.

Makayla Murphy, North Douglas

The senior setter/outside hitter had 13 aces and five kills for the Warriors in their 25-5, 25-7, 25-11 home win over Camas Valley in a Skyline match.

Lizabelle Osborn, Creswell

The junior outside hitter/middle blocker had 20 kills and two aces for the Bulldogs in their 25-18, 25-7, 25-11 road win against Elmira in a Mountain Valley Conference match.

Zoey Pappas, Umpqua Valley Christian

The junior setter shined with 17 kills, 12 assists, 10 digs and five aces for the Monarchs in their 25-20, 25-12, 25-17 road win against Camas Valley in a Skyline contest.

Kinley Rainwater, Riddle

The junior setter/outside hitter had 17 assists, eight digs and three aces for the Irish in a 25-20, 25-22, 25-14 road victory against Camas Valley in a Skyline match.

Irene Rocha, Blanchet Catholic

The freshman setter served 25 consecutive points to open the match for the Cavaliers in their 25-0, 18-25, 25-27, 25-19, 15-11 win over Kennedy in a Tri-River Conference contest at Blanchet Catholic.

Haley Saunders, Sutherlin

The senior libero, a team captain, had 23 digs, seven aces and two kills for the Bulldogs in their 23-25, 25-23, 15-25, 25-20, 15-13 win over North Valley in a Far West League contest at Sutherlin.

Sadie Scott, Churchill

The junior outside hitter/middle blocker had 18 digs and 16 kills for the Lancers in their 23-25, 25-19, 25-18, 25-23 win over Ashland in a Midwestern League match at Churchill High School.

Isha Shakya, Franklin

The sophomore middle hitter, who has a hitting percentage of .500, has made huge improvements throughout the season and had serving runs of 10 and six points for the Lightning in matches last week.

Dani Street, Crescent Valley

The junior libero/defensive specialist had a total of 168 digs and 22 aces for the Raiders in 3-1 league wins over Silverton and West Albany and four two-set matches at the Mt. Hood Invitational.

Madison Todd, Cascade Christian

The junior outside hitter had 10 kills, 10 digs and seven aces for the Challengers in their 25-9, 25-19, 19-25, 25-11 win over Lakeview in a Far West League match at Cascade Christian.

Makenna Wiepert, Wilsonville

The senior, who is a University of Texas at San Antonio commit as a setter, has had to play at outside hitter for the Wildcats this season, and she has been the team’s top offensive player. She helped lead Wilsonville to wins over Bend, Sprague and Ridgeview at the state preview tournament.

Brooklyn Willard, South Albany

The senior had 16 assists and four aces for the RedHawks in their 25-6, 25-17, 25-8 win over Woodburn in a Mid-Willamette Conference contest at South Albany.

Ella Wright, Glide

The junior had 12 kills and 10 digs to help guide the Wildcats to a 25-15, 25-23, 25-14 win against Sutherlin in a Far West League contest at Glide. 

Isabell Zamora, Rogue Valley Adventist

The senior outside hitter/defensive specialist had 10 kills and seven digs to help the Hawks earn a 25-7, 25-21, 28-26 win over Lost River in a Mountain Valley Conference match at Rogue Valley Adventist.
