Here are the Oregon high school girls soccer stars of the week for Oct. 10-16 as nominated by coaches, fans and readers.

Olivia Bariao-Arce, Oregon City

The junior midfielder scored two goals for the Pioneers in their 6-1 victory in a nonleague match at Canby.

Lena Caballero Uhtoff, Ashland

The junior tallied two goals for the Grizzlies in their 4-0 win over Churchill in a Midwestern League match at Ashland.

Clotine Chase, Marist Catholic

The junior scored four goals and had three assists for the Spartans in their 9-1 win over Junction City in a Sky Em League match at Marist Catholic. Chase, who has 18 goals and eight assists, has scored in every match she’s played this season.

Romane Clement, Parkrose

The senior, according to coach Dorothy Schlotz, is an all-star defender and a huge overall presence on the field for the Broncos, helping them battle Milwaukie to a scoreless tie in a Northwest Oregon Conference contest.

Naomi Coffee, David Douglas

The junior forward scored three goals for the Scots in their 8-1 win over Reynolds in a Mt. Hood Conference match at David Douglas High School.

Natalie Drotzman, Beaverton

The senior midfielder, a University of San Francisco commit, scored against Southridge in a 4-0 victory in a Metro League match. According to Beavers coach Jennifer Kirwan, Drotzman also provides the team with strong “leadership qualities and relentless effort.”

Natalia Elias, The Dalles

The freshman midfielder had goals for the Riverhawks in both of their Tri-Valley Conference wins, against Crook County and Estacada.

Brooke Fairbanks, South Medford

The junior forward had two goals and an assist for the Panthers in their 4-2 win over Willamette in a Southwest Conference match at Willamette High School.

Sela Freeman, Marist Catholic

The senior had two goals and three assists for the Spartans in their 9-1 home win over Junction City in a Sky Em League contest. Freeman has 19 goals and nine assists this season, leading the team in both categories.

Carsyn Gallegos, Phoenix

The sophomore scored all three goals for the Pirates in their 3-2 home victory over Mazama in a Skyline Conference contest. The win was the first for Phoenix against Mazama in more than 10 years. Gallegos also had a goal, coming on a direct kick from about 30 yards, in a match with Klamath Union.

Kamilla Grimmer, Philomath

The junior forward had a huge week for the Warriors. She had three goals and an assist in a 5-1 win at Cascade, three goals in a 6-0 victory over Newport and three goals and an assist in a 4-1 win at Junction City.

Gracie Hess, Newberg

The sophomore forward scored all four of the Tigers’ goals in their 4-2 win over Liberty in a Pacific Conference match at Liberty High School.

Amyrah Hill, The Dalles

The junior forward had a total of three assists and two goals for the Riverhawks in their wins over Crook County and Estacada in Tri-Valley Conference matches.

Maya Loudd, Tualatin

The senior midfielder scored an unassisted goal, giving the Timberwolves a 1-0 win over defending Class 6A state champion Grant in a match at Delta Park.

Natalie Kawaguchi, Mountainside

The freshman, who scored two goals in a 5-1 Metro League win over Aloha, has started every game of the season, playing in the back, midfield and now up front.

Melanie Kirstein, North Marion

The junior defender has played at center back for almost every minute this season and is a big reason, coach Benjamin Bonser says, the Huskies have given up a Class 4A-best average of 0.3 goal per match.

Kasia Lopez, Clackamas

The freshman midfielder had two goals for the Cavaliers in their 3-1 win over Nelson in a Mt. Hood Conference match at Clackamas High School.

Paige Meador, Marist Catholic

The senior led the way for the Spartans’ defense in a 9-1 victory over Junction City. Meador, who has two goals and eight assists this season, continues to lead the way for the Marist Catholic defense, which has given up just five goals on the season.

Autumn Murray, Cascade Christian

The senior midfielder scored two goals for the Challengers in their 6-4 road victory against Coquille/Myrtle Point in a Special District 4 match.

Charlotte Overton, Sherwood

The junior goalkeeper, with great communication and positive leadership, stepped up for the Pacific Conference-leading Bowmen in a 4-1 win over McMinnville and then helped totally shut down Century in a 5-0 victory.

Trinity Porter, Canby

The sophomore has been described as a dedicated goalie who is kind to her peers.

Kendal Priaulx, North Eugene

The junior outside forward had the winning goal for the Highlanders in a 2-0 victory over Churchill and added two more goals in a 4-0 win against Crater.

Breanna Raven, Thurston

The senior, who plays full minutes for the Colts, creates many opportunities and comes up with many assists as she helped the team get off to a 2-0 start to Midwestern League play.

KT Roesinger, Grant

The senior midfielder tallied two goals and had an assist for the Generals in their 5-0 victory at Wells in a Portland Interscholastic League match.

Paige Schenfeld, Pleasant Hill

The senior midfielder/forward, and one of the team’s captains, scored two goals for the Billies in their 8-0 victory at Siuslaw in a Special District 3 match.

Hanna Slama, Jesuit

The sophomore midfielder scored two goals for the Crusaders in their 3-1 win over Sunset in a Metro League showdown at Jesuit High School.

Mia Spellman, Oregon City

The senior midfielder scored two second-half goals to help the Pioneers post a 2-1 win over Lakeridge in a Three Rivers League match at Pioneer Memorial Stadium.

Macy Taylor, Thurston

According to coach Benton Canaga, the sophomore “stops goals and makes goals.” Taylor helped the Colts earn a 5-0 win over Springfield in a Midwestern League match.

The junior midfielder scored three goals for the Riverhawks in Tri-Valley Conference victories against Crook County and Estacada.

Berni Wayland, West Linn

The junior center defender has been a key player in the Lions’ defense, helping the team get off to a league-leading 2-0-2 start in Three Rivers League play.

Micah Wicks, Sutherlin

The senior forward scored five goals and added an assist for the Bulldogs in their 7-2 win at Lakeview/Paisley in a Special District 4 match. She had two goals in a 7-0 victory over Lost River.

Avery Zahniser, South Medford

The sophomore midfielder scored two goals and had an assist for the Panthers in their 4-2 win over Willamette in a Southwest Conference match at Willamette High School.
