Bailey Moore of Weston-McEwen/Griswold voted the WaFd Bank Oregon High School Softball Athlete of the Week
Moore received 78.79% of the vote, beating out Pendleton’s Reese Furstenberg, who finished second with 12.83%.
Congratulations to Weston-McEwen/Griswold’s Bailey Moore for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Softball Player of the Week for the week of May 29-June 4.
Moore, a junior catcher on the Weston-McEwen/Griswold team, batting in the leadoff spot, went 2 for 4 with a double, a run and an RBI for the TigerScots in their 7-2 victory at Willamina in a Class 2A/1A state playoff semifinal game.
Moore received 78.79% of the vote, beating out Reese Furstenberg, a sophomore on the Pendleton team, who finished second with 12.83%. Jeilane Stewart, a junior on The Dalles team, was third with 4.13% and Sammantha Wilks, a senior on the Pendleton team, was fourth with 1.53%. There were nearly 8,000 votes tallied this week.
