Congratulations to Sisters’ Gracelyn Myhre for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Girls Athlete of the Week for the Week of Oct. 30-Nov. 5. 

Myhre, a senior outside hitter/right side for the Sisters volleyball team, had a double-double with 16 kills and 10 digs for the Outlaws in their 17-25, 17-25, 27-25, 25-16, 15-9 win over Valley Catholic in a Class 3A state tournament semifinal match. She had 11 kills and 12 digs in the championship match win over Pleasant Hill.

Myhre received 87.69% of the vote, beating out Ella Davis, a junior on the Sisters girls soccer team, who finished second with 7.93%. Zari Thomas, a freshman on the North Eugene girls soccer team, was third with 2.50% and Gracie Vohs, a senior on the Sisters volleyball team, was fourth with 0.64%. There were nearly 3,000 votes tallied this week.
