Les Schwab Invitational 2023: Day 2 highlights, top stars, statistical leaders
The 27th Les Schwab Invitational boys basketball tournament continued Wednesday at Liberty High School in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Mt. Spokane (Wash.) 60, West Linn 57 | Photos
The Wildcats controlled the glass (35-24) and outscored the Lions 11-3 from the free throw line, earning a tightly-contested victory and advancing to Thursday’s quarterfinals.
Ryan Lafferty scored 20 points, Nalu Vargas had 12, and Andrew Rayment added 10 points with 10 rebounds to lead Mt. Spokane (7-0), which held a 30-25 halftime advantage before hanging on late to pick up the win.
Pat Viavla led all scorers with 22 points, Nick DiGuilio contributed 17, and Jalen Snook came off the bench and scored 10 to pace West Linn (3-4).

D’Andre Harrison poured in 24 points, Barron Silsby scored 21, Koa Peat notched 11 points with 10 rebounds, and the Pumas used a 22-8 second period to ease past the Crusaders and into the quarterfinals.
Dominic Avalos had nine points off the bench and No No Brown added eight points in 28 minutes for Perry (9-3) of Arizona.
Isaac Bongen went for 24 points, Nico Rafalovich dropped in 17, and Pat Kilfoil scored nine in support of Jesuit (4-3). The Crusaders led 17-16 after one quarter and won the second half but could not overcome their cold-shooting second period.
Columbus (Fla.) 99, Lake Oswego 36 | Photos
Cameron Boozer (37 points, 11 rebounds), Jase Richardson (14), Michael Feenane (14 off the bench) and Cayden Boozer (10) scored in double figures, leading the Explorers to a resounding triumph over the Lakers.
Columbus (7-4) of Florida shot 69.5% (41 of 59) from the field, including Cameron Boozer’s 15-of-18 performance in 20 minutes.
Aengus Sutherland scored 13 points, Isaac McCoy had nine points, and Braden Larsen added five bench points to pace Lake Oswego (2-7). The Lakers committed 26 overall turnovers and were outscored 51-13 in the second half.
Harvard-Westlake (Calif.) 101, Liberty 62 | Photos
The Wolverines drilled 13 three-pointers, made 14 free throws and dominated the glass en route to a blowout win over the host Falcons.
Nikolas Khamenia put up a double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds, Trent Perry scored 21 points, and Christian Horry (13) and Robert Hinton (10) also reached double digits for Harvard-Westlake (13-0) of California.
James Kefgen had 19 points to go with 10 rebounds, Elijah Streeter scored 13 points off the bench, Donovan Crowder added 12 points, and Benjamin Chobu and Tyler Bradford chipped in eight points each for tournament host Liberty (5-1). The Falcons, who trailed 52-34 at halftime, were outrebounded 38-26.
