Kyleigh Brown of Silverton voted the WaFd Bank Oregon Girls Basketball Athlete of the Week

Brown received 47.75% of the vote, beating out St. Paul’s Audra Rose, who finished second with 25.49%

Congratulations to Silverton’s Kyleigh Brown for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Girls Basketball Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 26-March 3. 

Brown, a senior on the Silverton team, had 19 points, 10 rebounds and four assists for the Foxes in a 58-30 win over North Eugene in a Class 5A state playoff first-round game at Silverton High School. 

Brown received 47.75% of the vote, beating out Audra Rose, a junior on the St. Paul team, who finished second with 25.49%. Hadley Craig, a junior on the Central team, was third with 19.35% and Kaylor Buse, a freshman on the West Linn team, was fourth with 0.53%. There were more than 4,000 votes tallied this week.
