Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Pennsylvania high school athlete of the week for September October 22-28. Read through the nominees and cast your vote. Voting will conclude Sunday at 11:59 p.m. Votes must be made in the poll and emailed votes will not count. Adryce Arp, Central Dauphin East football
In a win over Carlisle, he caught a touchdown pass on offfesne but made his biggest impact on the defensive side with a forced fumble that he then recovered and 11 tackles
Donald Barksdale, Steel Valley football
Finished off his regular season by rushing for 208 yards and four touchdowns against Serra Catholic. He also took a punt return 56 yards for a fifth score.
Drew Branstetter, Camp Hill football
Threw for nearly 300 yards and three scores and also had a rushing touchdown in a win over Boiling Springs.
Dayshaun Burnett, Imani Christian football
Finished with 318 yards passing and four touchdowns in a 45-7 win over Yough.
Jamari Curlett, North East football
Hauled in seven catches for 237 yards and four touchdowns in a win over Reynolds. Two of the four. Touchdowns were more than 60 yards.
Nolan DiLucia, Peters Township football
The sophomore completed finished 14-of-24 passes for 296 yards and three touchdowns while adding a touchdown on the ground in a 68-28 win over Bethel Park.
Taber Driscoll, Burrell boys soccer
Sent Burrell to the WPIAL Class 1A semifinals with a game-winner in double overtime for a 2-1 win over Trinity Christian.
Julian Dugger, Penn Hills football
In a 26-21 win over Woodland Hills, the Pittsburgh commit accounted for all four touchdowns. He had 140 yards rushing with two scores and threw for 92 yards and a pair of touchdowns, including the game-winner to Cam Thomas midway through the fourth quarter.
Austin Efthimiades, Chartiers Valley football
Ran for 276 yards and four touchdowns in a 41-31 win over Ambridge.
Alex Erby, Steelton-Highspire football
The record-breaking quarterback added to his career totals with 279 yards passing and four touchdowns in a win over West Perry.
Armand Hill, West Mifflin football
After rushing for a combined 808 yards the last two weeks, the freshman running back again went over 200 yards with 201 and three touchdowns in a win South Park.
Quinton Martin, Belle Vernon football
The Penn State recruit needed scored four touchdowns in a win over Elizabeth Forward and did so three different ways. He had two touchdown receptions, a touchdown run, and an interception return for a score.
Tyler Pipon, Franklin Regional boys soccer
Scored both goals in a 2-1 win over Moon Area in the WPIAL Class 3A quarterfinals, including the game-winning goal just under four minutes into the second overtime.
Karter Schrock, Apollo-Ridge football
In a 37-33 win over Burrell, Schrock had a hand (and legs) in five touchdowns. He threw for 236 yards and a pair of touchdowns and also ran for 202 yards and three scores.
Nolan Seabury, Seneca football
The senior quarterback accounted for five touchdowns in a 42-22 win over Maplewood. He completed 14 of his 19 passes for 210 yards and three scores and also ran for 129 yards and two touchdowns.
Matt Sieg, Fort Cherry football
The sophomore quarterback ran for 251 yards and seven touchdowns in a win over Burgettstown.
Luke Spang, Parkland football
Had one of his best games of the season in a win over Emmaus, throwing for 230 yards and four passing touchdowns as wel as another score on the ground.
Tristyn Tavares, Norwin football
Accounted for seven touchdowns as Norwin finished the regular season with a 47-21 win over Hempfield. Tavares threw for 318 yards and six scores while also running for a touchdown.
Payton Wehner, Pittsburgh Central Catholic football
In a win over Gateway to end the regular season, Wehner had 235 yards passing and three touchdowns and also ran for a score.
Kayden Williams, Central Dauphin girls soccer
With five goals in the district playoff opener, the junior became the all-time leading goal scorer in school history.
Jake Wolfe, Montour football
Completed 20-of-25 passes for 320 yards and five touchdowns in a win. Over West Allegheny.
