SPOKANE VALLEY - Junior quarterback Luke Abshire accounted for four touchdowns - two rushing and two passing - to lead Central Valley to a 28-12 season-opening victory over Ferris on Saturday afternoon at Central Valley High School.

The Bears, who are ranked No. 32 in SBLive's preseason Top 50, are scheduled to host Mead on Friday, March 5, while Ferris is scheduled to play at University.
