South Central regional high school football rankings: Texas reigns (9/27/2023)

Led by Duncanville, Texas has seven ranked teams

Parkview of Little Rock, Arkansas, followed its win over Bryant that ended the Hornets’ 54-game win streak against in-state competition with back-to-back victories, including a 54-7 rout of Hot Springs in its 5A-South opener.

But Texas teams continue to dominate our South Central regional rankings, led by Duncanville, DeSoto, North Shore and Austin Westlake.
