Chase Bisontis, nation's No. 4 offensive tackle, commits to Texas A&M Aggies over LSU, others

Lost in the hype of signing the nation's No. 1 football recruiting class last year, the Texas A&M Aggies actually started slow before a big surge took them to the top.
Entering the weekend with the nation's No. 63 recruiting class, Texas A&M is hoping for similar push this year - and it may have already begun.
On Sunday, Don Bosco Prep (New Jersey) star Chase Bisontis, the nation's No. 52 overall prospect and No. 4 offensive tackle, announced his commitment to the Aggies over fellow finalists LSU, Michigan State and Rutgers:

"Oh, man, I love (offensive line) coach (Steve) Addazio," Bisontis told 247Sports prior to his decision. "He's a Northeast guy. I love him. The first time I was in Texas was the official visit and it was great. Everything is bigger. You don't believe it until you see it, but the relationships I have with those (coaches) ... (Coach) Jimbo Fisher, a great guy. I talked to him the other day. And the relationship I have with the players, I have a relationship with the whole front."
The 6-foot-5, 290-pound prospect is a versatile offensive line prospect who could play either tackle or guard at the collegiate level, but is considered a bluechip prospect by all four of the major recruiting services.
Bisontis joined two others are the clear-cut headliners of Texas A&M's class thus far: La Grange cornerback Bravion Rogers and South Oak Cliff cornerback Jayvon Thomas, both of whom are top-7 cornerbacks nationally from the state of Texas.
He is the second offensive line pledge, alongside Smithson Valley High School (Texas) four-star offensive tackle Colton Tomasson.
