On any given Friday night in Oregon, there's a good chance West Linn High School senior Mark Hamper was one of the top performers anywhere in the state.

Offense? Defense? It doesn't matter.

The 6-foot-2, 203-pound running back/wide receiver/linebacker/safety simply makes plays.

So far, however, Hamper's lone offer has come from Portland State, a program he will visit this weekend:

Still, he is nowhere near ready to make a decision.

"I'm super excited for the weekend, but I'm not looking to commit until later - after the season," Hamper said.

in the meantime, the under-recruited two-way standout is beginning to see his stock slowly rise.

Hamper is talking regularly to Idaho, Oregon State and Weber State and believes offers could be coming shortly.

In fact, he's taking an unofficial visit to Corvallis with the Beavers next weekend. 

In the meantime, he'll continue connecting with the Vikings - and putting up jaw-dropping numbers every time he steps on the football field.
