Life Christian Academy (Virginia) linebacker/safety Kaleb Spencer committed to the Oklahoma Sooners in May.

But that changed Friday evening, as the 6-foot-2, 210-pound linebacker/safety announced he was flipping his commitment to the Miami Hurricanes:

While Spencer is a three-star prospect and rated the nation's No. 44 linebacker, he has accumulated more than 20 scholarship offers, highlighted by Arkansas, LSU, Miami, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and others.

The news comes just one day after Miami shocked the college football world by landing the commitment of consensus five-star cornerback Cormani McClain, the nation's No. 2 overall prospect.

The Hurricanes' 2023 recruiting class consists of 18 pledges and is ranked No. 8 nationally - with McClain, five-star offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa and elite quarterback Jaden Rashada as the headliners.
