Oak Hills (California) four-star offensive lineman Paki Finau is one of the most coveted prospects on the West Coast, rated the nation's No. 216 overall prospect and No. 11 interior offensive lineman.

The versatile 6-foot-4, 265-pound mauler holds nearly 30 scholarship offers, and recently trimmed his list to a final seven of Arizona, Arizona State, Auburn, Penn State, UCLA, Utah and Washington.

Finau had even set June official visits  to Arizona, Penn State, Utah and Washington.

But as it turns out those proved unnecessary for him to make a decision.

On Monday, Finau announced his commitment to the Washington Huskies:

“I just visited UW for the second this past weekend and really liked it a lot there," Finau told 247Sports in April. "I talked with Troy Fautanu and he opened my eyes to how well (offensive line) coach Scott Huff treats his players I also met my cousin, Kolo, who’s on the women’s soccer team and even she said that as an athlete and student, you are well taken care of. It was a great time and I can't wait to be back.”

Finau is Washington's highest-rated offensive line pledge since O'Dea star Owen Prentice in the class of 2021 (No. 184).

The California product is the third commitment in Washington's class, and the highest-rated of the group.

He joins Garfield (Washington) three-star quarterback E.J. Caminong and Liberty (Nevada) three-star athlete Landon Bell.
