Prediction: Oregon State Beavers to land key in-state prospect
The Oregon State Beavers have not-so-quietly become a Pac-12 Conference title contender and a darkhorse pick to make the college football playoffs this fall.
That momentum has carried over to recruiting, where Oregon State has become a more appealing option to some of the West Coast's top programs.
One constant, however, is that the Beavers have always done a solid job of prioritizing in-state recruiting.
That effort should pay dividends soon.
Prediction: Terrell Kim to choose Oregon State Beavers
North Medford three-star offensive lineman Terrell Kim has made it his life's mission to play college football at the highest level, and he's spent the past few years refining his body, technique and mental approach to the game to achieve that aim.
It has recently paid off for the 6-foot-4, 325-pound interior offensive lineman, as he's gained significant recruiting attention after a series of stellar camp showings.
One of those camps resulted in an offer from the Oregon State Beavers.
Over the weekend, Kim took an official visit to Corvallis and came away impressed, particularly by the way he fit in with the tone of the program.
“It was honestly the people, the family environment," Kim said. "Everyone took care of me and my family. Everyone was welcoming and it just felt normal - nothing tense or stressful. It was a good time.”

Given that Kim has dreamed of playing high-level FBS football, and Oregon State has prioritized him as a bonafide Pac-12 prospect, the fit makes sense.
Expect Kim to choose Oregon State soon.
