John Bol has found his future home.

The athletic 7-foot-1 center, one of the top college basketball prospects in the Class of 2024, announced his verbal commitment to Ole Miss and coach Chris Beard on Monday, becoming one of the top-rated prospects in the program's history.

Bol had previously committed to the University of Florida back on June 10 only to decommit from the Gators just 20 days later.

Now the shot-blocking defensive dynamo will be headed to the Southeastern Conference anyway – and eventually get to play against Florida.

After helping lead Christian Brothers College High School to the Missouri Class 6 championship as a sophomore in 2022 – he averaged 10.2 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocked shots per game – Bol transferred to Sunrise Christian Academy in Kansas for his junior year.

At Sunrise, he averaged 5.1 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game, helped the Buffaloes reach the semifinals of the GEICO Nationals tournament and was named both the NIBC and SBLive's defensive player of the year.

Bol recently announced he will continue his basketball career with Overtime Elite.
