Deion Sanders, Colorado Buffaloes hosting nation's No. 1 athlete this weekend
The Colorado Buffaloes have become must-watch college football seemingly overnight under new coach Deion Sanders.
And recruits are taking notice.
For this week's big match-up between Colorado and Nebraska, the Buffaloes are hosting several intriguing prospects.
But the headliner was spotted in pregame - Cass Tech (Michigan) elite athlete CJ Sadler, the nation's No. 1 athlete in the class of 2026, who was standing next to Colorado four-star defensive line pledge Brandon Davis-Swain:
The 5-foot-10, 170-pound athlete already holds offers from Alabama, Florida, Michigan, Ohio State, Tennessee and others.
Sadler is currently playing quarterback for his high school team, but projects as a versatile skill-position player at the collegiate level - with a high ceiling as a receiver/slot.
As for Colorado, the program's visitor list is unlikely to drop off any time soon.
Sanders' program is reportedly set to host Belleville (Michigan) Bryce Underwood, the nation's No. 1 overall prospect in the class of 2025, later this month.
