Patrick Herbert throws 2-point conversion for Oregon Ducks: 'Just like your brother'

Former Sheldon (Oregon) four-star tight end Patrick Herbert threw a 2-point conversion for the Oregon Ducks

Oregon Ducks offensive lineman Jackson Power-Johnson was speaking for everyone as tight end Patrick Herbert marched back to the sideline.

"Just like your brother," he said, according to 1080 The FAN's Dusty Harrah

In the first quarter of Saturday's game between No. 13 Oregon and Texas Tech, the Ducks ran a trick play on a two-point conversion that led to Herbert throwing a pass to fellow tight end Terrance Ferguson.

Patrick's older brother, Justin Herbert, is a star NFL quarterback for the Los Angeles Chargers.

Coming out of Sheldon High School (Oregon) in the class of 2019, Herbert was rated a four-star prospect, the nation's No. 6 tight end and the No. 1 player in the state of Oregon.

But maybe he should've received a rating at quarterback as well.

Okay, maybe not.

Still, it was a cool moment of nostalgia for Oregon fans to see a player with "Herbert" on the back of their Oregon jersey completing passes into the endzone.
