Jeremiah Smith, Ohio State commit and nation's No. 1 wide receiver, visiting Miami Hurricanes this weekend

Chaminade-Madonna (Florida) five-star wide receiver Jeremiah Smith once vowed he wouldn't return to Miami

Time heals all wounds.

During a back-and-forth with fans on social media in April, Chaminade-Madonna (Florida) five-star wide receiver Jeremiah Smith vowed he'd never step foot on Miami's campus again.

"You Miami fans full of it," Smith wrote.

"I'm not coming back on campus, 100," Smith responded in a quote tweet.

Despite the exchange, it seems Smith has had a change of heart.

This weekend, the Ohio State Buckeyes pledge and nation's No. 1 wide receiver will be visiting Miami for its game against Georgia Tech:

While the 6-foot-3, 200-pound pass-catcher has remained committed to the Buckeyes since last December, he has taken visits to several campuses, including Florida, Georgia and, soon, Miami.

Given that Smith once said he'd never step foot on Miami's campus again, this weekend's trip is an interesting development.

Will it be enough to flip him?

Smith experienced a change-of-heart when it came to Miami once already, so perhaps it's not far-fetched.
