Jordan Seaton, nation's No. 1 offensive tackle, expects 'exciting' Florida Gators visit this weekend

IMG Academy (Florida) five-star offensive tackle Jordan Seaton is visiting Florida this weekend

There are only two uncommitted five-star recruits remaining in the class of 2024, according to On3 - IMG Academy (Florida) offensive tackle Jordan Seaton and Mainland (Florida) defensive lineman LJ McCray.

This weekend, Seaton is taking a major trip, traveling to Gainesville for a highly-anticipated official visit to check out the Florida Gators:

"(I) have a feeling it’s going to be exciting," he said. "Let’s see how it goes."

The versatile 6-foot-5, 295-pound lineman is rated the nation's No. 1 offensive tackle and is one of the most sought-after recruits in the country.

Seaton is high on Alabama and Ohio State and recently visited Tennessee.

For the Gators to firmly enter the mix as a major contender this weekend's trip needs to be a home run.

Seaton is ready.

It's going to be a big weekend for Florida.

Here's what 247Sports had to say, in part, about Seaton:

"Has frame to play either guard or tackle at college level. Plays left tackle in high school and has legitimate size and length. Saw play on multiple occasions during 2022 season and performed well against strong competition. High level athleticism combined with a nasty streak. Is physical and active with hands. Has forceful initial punch. Quick feet allows for impressive lateral movement. Has ability to sink hips and explode into defender. Brings ferocious attitude to line of scrimmage. ...Is difficult to disengage from for high school players. Athleticism shines when asked to pull. Uses proper footwork and gets into gap quickly. Excellent body control and can target linebackers in space. Uses lower body strength well, including to correct within rep. ...Has athleticism to get out and lead on screens. Has nice kick step in pass pro. Strong with initial punch and accurate with hand placement. Is patient in base and rarely reaches. Moves well laterally to handle speed off edge. Shows ability to mirror. ...Can be an early round NFL draft pick."
