Ny Carr, elite wide receiver, commits to Miami Hurricanes

Colquitt County (Georgia) four-star wide receiver Ny Carr recently decommitted from the Georgia Bulldogs

Colquitt County (Georgia) record-setting wide receiver Ny Carr is - again - off the board.

After recently decommitting from the Georgia Bulldogs, the nation's No. 53 overall prospect and No. 11 wide receiver almost immediately zeroed in on the Miami Hurricanes.

Following this weekend's visit, Carr announced his commitment to Mario Cristobal's program:

It was the second time Carr made headlines this weekend.

The former Georgia pledge also took a shot at the Bulldogs offense on social media, which generated significant attention.

Prior to Carr's commitment, Miami's recruiting class was ranked No. 17 nationally, but jumps No. 11 with his decision, leapfrogging Clemson, Texas, Auburn, Michigan, Oregon and Penn State in the process.

Why the big move?

Carr is an electrifying receiver who has produced big numbers throughout his high school career.

The 5-foot-11, 170-pound pass-catcher recently broke the school record for career touchdown receptions with 35.
