Dia Bell on LSU Tigers ahead of visit: 'I like them a lot'

American Heritage (Florida) quarterback Dia Bell is taking a visit to LSU this weekend

The LSU Tigers are hosting quite the quarterback duo this weekend for their contest against Auburn.

Earlier in the week, Belleville (Michigan) five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood, the nation's No. 1 overall prospect in 2025, is announced he would be in Baton Rouge

So, too, will American Heritage (Florida) signal-caller Dia Bell, the nation's No. 3 quarterback in the class of 2026.

For the 6-foot-1, 190-pound quarterback, it's another chance to connect with a program that has built an early foundation with him.

"I like them a lot," Bell said. "They are program with a lot of history and they have one of the best offenses in the country. I have a really good relationship with coach (Joe) Sloan."

While it's early in Bell's recruitment, he has already generated significant buzz, as well as offers from BYU, Florida, Houston, Miami, Penn State and West Virginia.

And for good reason.

Bell, a budding star at quarterback and the son of former NBA player Raja Bell, is a stellar basketball player as well, averaging 20.7 points, 5 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 2 steals per game as a freshman.
