Bryant Wesco updates recruitment: 'I am 100 (percent) locked in to Clemson'

College football coaches have been checking in on Bryant Wesco

The Clemson Tigers are 4-3 overall and 2-3 in the ACC, which has led some college football coaches to check in on their top pledges.

Are you solid? Any interest in a flip?

Midlothian (Texas) five-star wide receiver Bryant Wesco emphatically answered those questions publicly Monday with a response that will be music to Clemson fans' ears.

"While I am thankful for all the coaches and schools that recruited me I am 100 (percent) locked in to Clemson. My recruitment is closed."

The 6-foot-2, 170-pound pass-catcher is rated the nation's No. 21 overall prospect and No. 5 wide receiver, making him the offensive headliner of Clemson's class.

He joins Jefferson (Georgia) five-star linebacker Sammy Brown as one of two five-star recruits in Clemson's class.

Earlier this season, Brown trolled opposing fans who held up a "shoulda gone to Duke" sign at one of his high school games - a contest that turned into a blowout in Brown's favor.

Admittedly, Clemson is having a down year on the field, but not on the recruiting trail - with a class that ranks No. 15 nationally
